Tekkentag2 kunimitsu.png

Kunimitsu is a character that debuts in the first Tekken and returns for Tekken 2, with her only other appearances being in the non-canonical Tag Tournament games and Tekken Revolution. She is a former member of the Manji Clan, and naturally, she fights using Manji Ninjutsu, a style that is heavily derived from the Manji Clan's leader, Yoshimitsu, who expelled her for repeatedly stealing for personal gain. She is notable for being one of the few characters who fights using a weapon (a kunai that she wields right-handed). Kunimitsu enters the first tournament in an attempt to steal Michelle Chang's pendant, regarded as a Native American treasure, but she fails when she suffers a humiilating defeat at Michelle's hands, and in Tekken 2, she enters the tournament to defeat Yoshimitsu and claim his sword, so that her swordsmith grandfather can achieve his lifelong goal of forging a copy of it. With her complete absence from the later Tekken games, there has been much speculation over her fate, with two of the most popular theories being that she was killed by either Yoshimitsu or Ogre (who, in both forms, incorporates two of her unblockable attacks into his arsenal in his Tekken 3 debut).

  • Ok, the server move is scheduled for this weekend Melbourne time. The down time should be minimal, about one hour.

  • Hey guys, have to move the server AGAIN. The wiki will be in read only mode while I do it. So sorry, turns out Amazon AWS is a bit too expensive ($200 last month!) so I'm going to move to Digital Ocean. Sorry about the downtime :(

  • I'm in the process of consolidating all my servers so the Tekkenpedia is going to move from Hetzner to Amazon AWS. Hopefully it should be a bit faster for everyone that's in the US again (and slower for those in Europe, sorry! :( )
