Prototype Jack TTT2 CG.png

Prototype Jack (or P. Jack, for short) is a character that made his debut in the first Tekken, and he returned for Tekken 2 and the non-canonical Tekken Tag Tournaments 1 and 2, making him the Jack robot with the most playable appearances. His style is labeled as "Power Fighting", and while he fights very similarly to the other Jacks, there are also many things that set their styles apart, thanks to Prototype Jack's rotatable hands, arms, and torso. The first version of Prototype Jack, created by Russia and entered into the inaugural King of Iron Fist Tournament by Heihachi, was a poorly put-together piece of machinery, due to power being the primary focus when it was built, and it was nearly destroyed by Jack. Under Kazuya's orders, Doctor Boskonovitch recreates the robot, giving him his trademark look and adding on the ability of flight. Despite the major improvements in its quality, with Tekken 2 being Prototype Jack's last canonical appearance, it is presumed that Jack's newest incarnation damaged him beyond repair with a second victory over him.

Site News

  • Sorry about the slowness over the past 24 hours. Had an outage of memcached on the server. Now fixed and the system uses monit to monitor the server making sure it won't go down again.

  • If you're seeing this then you're on the new site! So a bit of a breakdown of what's changed:
    • We are now running on a 12 gig, 8 core beast of a computer located in Germany.
    • MediaWiki has been upgraded to the latest version.
    • I've retired the other language versions of the Tekkenpedia and we will migrate the site from eng.tekkenpedia.com back to plain old tekkenpedia.com
    • Memcache has been installed which speeds things up immensely.
    • Likewise, we're running the latest versions of XCache etc.
    • I've improved the Captcha used and will try and lock down the spam.
  • Upgrading the site to the newest version of MediaWiki, might get a little bit of downtime over the next couple of hours.

  • Errors look like they've resolved themselves. Decided that I'm going to move Tekkenpedia to it's own dedicated machine soon, we've outgrown Dreamhosts VPS service!

  • Well, we just got kicked off Google Adsense due to a picture of Christie in a bikini! Thanks Google! Hopefully I can find an alternative ad network that pays enough to keep the server running :/
