Character of the Month

Sergei Dragunov is a character that debuts in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, and he has returned for all subsequent Tekken titles. His fighting style is Sambo, with his various takedowns and bone-snapping techniques arguably being the most standout feature. Dragunov's most identifiable characteristics are never showing emotion and never speaking (while he does have some dialogue in Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign mode, it is only in text, and his sentences are short and to-the-point). Following an investigative report on an anomalous object unearthed from thick ice, the Russian military sends him to infiltrate The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 on a clandestine mission to capture the organism known as "Devil". When his search turns up empty, Dragunov leaves Japan and returns to Russia, where, in light of the ongoing world war that has brought Russia into a state of national unrest and is threatening to breach the security of their government, he is soon given the task of crushing the Mishima Zaibatsu and overthrowing the company's leader, Jin Kazama.

  • I've fixed the misbehaving extensions (I had the very latest versions of them instead of the 1.25.1 version). Everything should be ship-shape now.

  • Server has been moved and if you're seeing this, you're on the new one. Any problems, please let me know on my talk page.

Samuel (talk) 04:17, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

  • Ok, the server move is scheduled for this weekend Melbourne time. The down time should be minimal, about one hour.

Samuel (talk) 01:59, 5 June 2014 (UTC)

  • Hey guys, have to move the server AGAIN. The wiki will be in read only mode while I do it. So sorry, turns out Amazon AWS is a bit too expensive ($200 last month!) so I'm going to move to Digital Ocean. Sorry about the downtime :(

Samuel (talk) 11:04, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

  • If you can see this message then welcome, you're on the new server.

Samuel (talk) 11:06, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

  • I'm in the process of consolidating all my servers so the Tekkenpedia is going to move from Hetzner to Amazon AWS. Hopefully it should be a bit faster for everyone that's in the US again (and slower for those in Europe, sorry! :( )
