Devil Kazuya is the manifestation of Kazuya Mishima and Devil combined into one. In the original Tekken this was represented as a palette shift of Kazuya, giving him devil characteristics. To play as Devil Kazuya in Tekken 1 you must win eight levels of the Galaga mini game.
In Tekken Tag Tournament, if you selected both Kazuya and Devil to be your team then pressing the tag button would cause Kazuya to transform into Devil (and vice versa) instead of tagging out. This transformation was also accompanied with a small stun if it connected with the other player, giving you enough time to transform without suffering a counterattack.
