Confirmed Facts
Tekken 6 is the upcoming installment of Namco's Tekken series, expected to come out sometime in 2007 or 2008. It has been confirmed that the graphics will be much better than the graphics in the trailer shown at E3 2006. This has been confirmed. The graphics in Tekken 6 will most likely resemble the graphics of the Tekken 6 trailer shown at the Sony press conference in 2005.
- The third trailer shown in 2007 showed and confirmed two new characters for Tekken 6: Leo and Zafina.
- The following characters have also been confirmed to re-appear: Jack (the model is unspecified, but it could possibly by the name of Jack-6), Bryan Fury, Sergei Dragunov, Asuka Kazama, Armor King, and Jin Kazama.
- Tekken 6 will be released in Arcade form.
- Nothing else about the story has yet been confirmed except that it will continue from Tekken 5's storyline. Tekken 6 will be a launch title for the upcoming release of Sony's PlayStation 3.
Rumours and Speculation
- Jin Kazama will also appear in non-Devil form. - Jin was shown in his devil-form in the second trailer. [5/5]
- Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law / Forest Law, Jack, Heihachi Mishima, Yoshimitsu, Kuma / Panda, and Kazuya Mishima will return. - It is likely that these characters will return, as the have always been staples of the Tekken franchise. [4/5]
- Tekken 6 will be a 2007/2008 release. - Tekken versions generally come out every two years (however there was a three year gap between Tekken 4 and Tekken 5). [2/5]
