Introduction
Tekken (english: "iron fist") is a series of fighting computer games developed and produced by Namco. Originally an arcade game, it has been ported to the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 consoles. The next installment of the game will be available on the PlayStation 3 console.
The series is one of the earliest 3D fighting game franchises, with the first game released less than two years after Virtua Fighter.
The Tekkenpedia
The Tekkenpedia is the first and best resource for all information about Tekken. This includes all of the Tekken characters backgrounds, story and character relationships.

- I've reinstated Google ads back onto the website to help offset hosting costs. If you create an account and log in then all advertising will be removed.
- It looks like we're getting very close to the release of Tekken 6 and the information about it has been flowing in thick and fast (have a look at the Tekken 6 page for more details). - Aaaand welcome back. Well that couldn't have gone any worse. Right after disabling the database from edits my Internet connection was taken down for about 48 hours by my telephone company. As you can see the upgrade has gone ahead but there are still a few flaws, the old skin has been overwritten and replaced with the default. - We've added three new sections for every characters Tekken installment. A gallery, move list and juggle videos, so if you want to add images, fan art, juggle videos or figure out how to play your favourite character (move lists and strategy guides coming soon!) then check them out! - If you're reading this then you are viewing the Tekkenpedia on the new webhost and everything should be back to normal. Over the next few weeks the Tekkenpedia will be upgraded to the latest version of Mediawiki (version 1.9.3). Other minor changes are going to be implemented around the site as well, e.g. advertising will be removed for users with accounts that are logged in.
- Over the next few days The Tekkenpedia will be shifting its domain name and web hosting to a new provider (Dreamhost). We don't expect any outages, however edits to the old website will be locked while the DNS propagates.
