[edit] "Romantic Possibilities" section
I recently removed this section because I didn't think that it belonged. I am working on putting information that was in this section that I think belongs in the article back in the article. If you have a reason or reasons why this section should be put back in the article, or if you think that a certain part or certain parts of this section should be in the article, please tell me and I will fix the article if I agree with you. - Speaking of which, why do so many people believe that Jin and Hwoarang are gay for each other? I personally would like to think of Jin being perfect for Xiaoyu. I also don't think that Jin should be paired with Julia Chang, especially since they've NEVER met before (unless they have and Namco just hasn't told us yet). The thought of Jin and Asuka being together also seems very wrong (since they're cousins). I supposed people believe that Lee likes Kazuya and that Nina should totally go out with Steve. --RaiJinX
Sorry but i dont think that Jin and Xiaoyu would be good together(Its my opinion) I will explain: First Xiaoyu is not like Jun so she cant save Jins soul!(I think that Namco did a mistake that making Asuka being Jins cousin because she can save Jin with her angelic like powers so she would be the perfect girl for him but now they re cousins!)
If Xiaoyu become his romance Jin will not give her attention because of his cursed blood and the devil inside him and.......
People like this pairing since Tekken 4 because Miharu teased Xiaoyu for Jin in her ending and because Jin sent her that warning message(Come on they re friends Jin knew that Xiaoyu trusted Heihachi and im sure he did it just to blame Heihachi and warn her about him he didnt know another person which was so close with Heihachi)
I dont understand why everybody likes this pairing i wouldnt think that is gona get official!----Izumi-chan----
- -_- I guess we'll never agree on anything, huh Izumi-chan? --RaiJinX
In the asuka discussion i didnt agree with that Asuka-Jin fan(come on Namco said they are cousins,if they werent maybe)but Xiao has not angelic like powers:(I think the only romantic pairing is Jun and Kazuya.Izumi--chan
- That's all very true Izumi-chan... -_- RJX
Does that really matter? What if Jin learned to control the Devil side of him? What if he was consumed by the Devil, and did not care about reverting to normal? If that was the case, the storyline would evolve better if Xiaoyu had a hard time trying to find a cure than if Asuka did it with no problem at all. But maybe we should let the story-line with Asuka evolve further before making snap fanboy/-girl judgements? --Hecko 08:15, 23 August 2007 (PDT)
- Fine by me. --RJX
Then he will turn like Kazuya and he will ignore Xiaoyu at all:( Its one good pairing for fanfictions! But its not official Everybody wish it was^^---Izumi-Chan---
- But at least he'll just ignore her for a good reason and not just because he's jerk like Kazuya. I get what you mean though, so let's not argue about this anymore, ok? --Sakura 08:38, 24 August 2007 (PDT)
- Some people are fans of yaoi (male homosexual relationships). That's why there are Hwoarang/Jin pairings. Jin/Julia is probably a random pairing. Asuka/Jin is probably because of her ending or because they are fans of these types of relationships. There probably are people that would think of pairings like Lee/Kazuya and Nina/Steve. I don't really think much about romantic relationships between characters. Xiaoyu/Jin is most likely to happen if Jin gets into a relationship, in my opinion. The others would probably only happen in fanfictions (no offense to anybody who supports any of these relationships). Maybe Xiaoyu can save Jin's soul. She could probably find a way. But, then again, Xiaoyu's endings are not canon, but that could change. The storyline would evolve better this way. I agree with Hecko here. Maybe they would just make Asuka save him and not get into a relationship with him, which is something that I am not in favor of (the relationship thing). I wouldn't mind her just saving him. I just wanted to put my thoughts here. JunKazamaFan 21:53, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
- I agree with that. --Sakura 05:38, 8 October 2007 (PDT)

Mmm,you're right but Jin don't seem interested in Xiao so Namco is not planning to get him into a relationship! If you think of it there are alot of fangirls who play Tekken just for Jin(I'm one too)and they don't really want to see him with any tekken girl ;D Believe me nobody can fight crazy fangirls(like me)XD.... [edit] Tekken 6
Does anyone believe that Jin is evil now? --RaiJinX
Im sure our jinny is not evil at all he still has something good in him^^
Izumi-chan----
I think that, too. But I guess we'll really find out when Tekken 6 comes out, huh? --RJX
That's ilogic... why Jin now is bad? He ever think in the others. Or, mor exactly...Why he kill Miguel's family?
He didnt killed exactly Miguel's sister! She was killed from the explosion which caused by Jin.Maybe he killed her without knowing it---Izumi-Chan---
- I don't think Jin's evil. I think that Devil Jin is somehow possessing Jin. JunKazamaFan 14:37, 15 September 2007 (PDT)
- I kinda think so, too (considering his new flag). Still, that's pretty awesome. --RaiJinX
- Oh, I'm glad someone kinda agrees with me. JunKazamaFan 20:27, 7 October 2007 (PDT)

We never saw an evil Jin let's see him now! He looks very hot(as always)But with an evil style! My opinion Evil or Good Jin is Awesome!;D Cherry Blossom((^3^))
[edit] Good/Evil
I think that the fact that Jin is both Mishima and Kazama kinda makes him half-devil half-angel. I mean, Kazuya (the daddy) has the Devil Gene while Jun (the mommy) has angel-like powers that allows her to revert any form of the Devil Gene. (This theory can be supported during Kazuya's Tekken 4 ending when Jin didn't change yet due to what Devil/Kazuya believed to be his "Kazama blood.) Just a thought! ^_^ \ / --RaiJinX
- What you seem to forget to take into consideration, is that the "Devil Gene" story plot didn't begin until Tekken 4. The original storyline was that Kazuya struck a deal with a/the devil and sold his soul in order to survive and get revenge. During the T2 storyline, Jun senses this being. Heihachi wins the tournament and kills Kazuya by throwing him into a active vulcano, which frees part of the devil inside Kazuya's soul. It then locates Jin just prior the events of T3 and "infects him" (gives him the tatoo on his right arm). Then the Devil Gene idea came along and everything went to hell, because they couldn't rewrite the old stuff, but the wanted the new idea to be included. So while not an actual piece of genetic code, think of the "Devil Gene" as more of a bloodline of people that could be infected, should the Devil choose to do so, ie. Jin didn't get the Devil from his father, the devil just got a free access pass, because he is his father's son. And the same goes for for the Kazama bloodline. It doesn't seem to be something you actually inherit per se, but rather a spiritual thing that they are more attuned to. And we don't know if it's exclusive to the female side of the Kazamas. And for some reason, I doubt Namco would ever give an answer to that, but you could always give it a shot and try to contact one of the translators, as they always seem more laid back and are more likely to direct you to the right people (at least that goes for Square Enix translators). --Hecko 12:05, 16 August 2007 (PDT)
- Oh wow, I never thought about that. Thanks Hecko. --RaiJX
- No worries. --Hecko 11:38, 18 August 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Occupation
Shouldn't we add that Jin was a student? Like this: (T3) Student at Mishima Polytechnic High School. --RaiJinX
But he was 19 years old and finished school. Was it college? User:Tekken-rules2007 10:10, 19th August 2007 (CDT)
- Hm, well they've never actually said anything about Jin going to college, but that does make a lot of sense. --RaiJinX
- I doubt Jin went to college. Because Mishima Polytechnical School is also called Mishima High School, and there isn't any mention of Jin being in college. Yes, it should be stated that Jin was a student at Mishima High School. Thank you, RJX! JunKazamaFan 20:37, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
- hhmmm, I think we have a bit of a mis-understanding. In the U.K, Australia etc. College is referred to as grade 11 and 12 (Senior High in U.S). In the U.S college is what we call University (after grade 12). So I guess Jin did go to what we call college, but in America high school goes to grade 12, so in that sense he didn't go to college. If that makes sense. KingIsBest 20:53, 9 October 2007 (AEDT).
- In Denmark, grades 1-10 are in a "regular" school (elementary or whatever, and the 10th grade is optional), grades 11-13 are in a gymnasium, beyond is in a University. --03:37, 9 October 2007 (PDT)
- Interesting, I didn't know that. In Australia primary school is from Kindergarten-Grade 6, Grade 7-10 is high school, 11-12 is college and beyond is university. I thought I would just clear up what User:Tekken-rules2007 was probably referring too, as it is different in the U.S compared to England. KingIsBest 15:40, 10 October 2007 (AEDT).
- Well, since we're now talking about our country's school system(s): Nursery-Kindegarten+1-5=Elementary, 6-8=Junior High School, 9-12=High School, and then College. --Sakura 11:33, 10 October 2007 (PDT)
- Young grasshoppers... The answer lies not within, but without. Find out how the Japanese schooling system works in order to find out if it was college or high school. --90.184.69.36 15:27, 10 October 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Origin
For Jin's origin, shouldn't we put "Yakushima, Japan" (like how Asuka has "Osaka, Japan" for her origin)? --RaiJinX
Doesn't this seem to be exactally like Tekken 2? It reminds me of Kazuya.--Cojin 15:04, 2 September 2007 (PDT)
What? Jin in Tekken 6? --RJX
Yeah doesn't he seem to be going down the same path as Kazuya?--Cojin 17:37, 3 September 2007 (PDT)
Yeah. Except Jin was actually good for quite sometime before snapping (or not snapping?). It was probably like less than 2 months. Kazuya had that evil for 14 years or more. --Sakura 14:58, 4 September 2007 (PDT)
- Original question: Yes, we should. Cojin's: Not exactly, but similar. Jin was a good person in Tekken 3, Tekken 4, and Tekken 5 / Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. Kazuya was only good in Tekken, and even then, he still had some evil in him, represented by a palette swap of him, Devil. Here's the image of that: [1]. JunKazamaFan 20:22, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
- I'll put it up then (if it isn't already there). --Sakura 16:39, 9 October 2007 (PDT)
[edit] Trivia
When was it ever important the Jin fought Heihachi in Tekken 3 (other than that Heihachi is the Tournament's host)? --RaiJinX
So does anyone know what may have caused Jin to snap?--Cojin 12:30, 23 September 2007 (PDT)
- RaiJinX: It isn't important that Jin fights Heihachi at Stage 9 in Tekken 3. Everybody fights Heihachi at Stage 9 in Tekken 3.
- Cojin: I don't think he snapped. I think Devil Jin has just possessed him. I just can't see Jin being evil. We'll just have to wait until Tekken 6 to find out. JunKazamaFan 13:06, 23 September 2007 (PDT)
- JKF: Thanks for the info. JKF and Cojin: I think that the Devil Gene is influencing Jin's actions somehow (his Tekken 5 intro even said the Devil Gene would overcome him in a matter of time). --Rai
- No problem. I just removed the "Trivia" entry that mentions Jin fighting Heihachi (because most of the listed characters are encountered by many characters, and not just Jin). I'm glad you agree. Your wording sounds better than the way I worded it, by the way. JunKazamaFan 19:09, 23 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] RaiJinX's Trivia
Jin Kazama is hot.
Cojin is even hotter!! --Cojin 18:07, 26 October 2007 (PDT)
- LOL --Rai
Come on he's turning out just like Kazuya he doesn't need a freaking bodyguard!--Cojin 12:23, 1 November 2007 (PDT)
- No.... Jin's much cooler than Kazuya. And besides, I think Jin's just under the devil's mind control. --Rai
- Kazuya is better than Jin. KingIsBest 23:40, 1 November 2007 (PDT)
- Quod? Nani? Que? I don't think so, sir! LOL --Rai
- Kazuya is better than Jin. KingIsBest 23:40, 1 November 2007 (PDT)
Jin Kazama is the Hotest character ever he's both strong and good looking(faints) Kazuya is strong but no way he is not Jin Cherry Blossom((^3^))
- I would like Jin more if he kept his mishima karate. Kazuya however retained his mishima karate and thats why I play as kazuya more often. Also why I prefer Devil Jin to Jin. KingIsBest 01:25, 4 November 2007 (PST)
- KIB: Well, I think Devil Jin and Jin are both cool. Kazuya doesn't really float my boat. LOL. Cherry Blossom ((^3^)): I agree with you. LOL. --Sakura 06:38, 4 November 2007 (PST)
