Yoshimitsu Flash Steal Chart

From Tekkenpedia

Jump to: navigation, search
During the night, Yoshimitsu snuck onto someone's server and stole bits and parts of this article from it, if not the whole thing!!
You can help the Tekkenpedia by editing the page.

These charts below are an extension to Yoshimitsu's movelist. Yoshimitsu can steal other characters moves by using the Sword Flash (1+4) and later on use that move by pushing 1+4 once again. The stolen move carries over to the next round and won't be lost until it's actually used or the fight is over. In order to steal the move you do not actually have to counter the move in question, he can steal the move across screen or while he is getting hit. Once Yoshimitsu has stolen a move his sword will be glowing red.

Yoshimitsu will steal entire string regardless of whether your opponent completes the string or not, and he can also steal various strings at different points of the string. The commands in the first column of the chart will end at the move Yoshimitsu is stealing, so some strings will have multiple listings. For example he can steal Ling's 1,2,1 at any of the three hits and the result will be the full string. On the other hand he can steal Craig's 2 for example (which results into a 2,d+1+2 being executed), but he cannot actually steal that string by doing a Sword Flash during the d+1+2 animation of that same string.

In the second column you will see what Yoshimitsu does when using the stolen moves and if he has any optional inputs from the stolen move. What he does after pushing 1+4 will be listed in the original character legend, optional input will be listed under it in the usual fashion with the buttons you need to push after using the stolen moves and a short description if needed.
