Sergei Dragunov (Russian: Сергей Драгунов; Japanese: セルゲイ・ドラグノフ serugei doragunofu) is a member of SPETSNAZ, the military headquarters responsible for investigating the unknown body. They thought of giving special orders to one man involved in the excavation. A man named Dragunov, a member of the Special Forces, the very symbol of fear on the battlefield who has been dubbed "The White Angel of Death" because of his overwhelming fighting prowess.
[edit] Trivia
- With the exception of various grunts and kiais during fights, Dragunov does not speak. It is debated as to whether or not he is an actual mute or if he prefers not to speak.
- Dragunov's name is based on the Russian Dragunov Sniper Rifle.
- Dragunov's first sub-boss, encountered at Stage 4, is Raven. Raven divulges that he is on to his "organization" and actions. It is also highly speculated that Raven may have some ties to Dragunov, as both are members of elite units and are both sent to investigate the events in Tekken 5.
- Before Dragunov fights Devil Jin during his Stage 8 encounter, he looks at a picture of his opponent. It appears to be a picture of Devil Jin in his complete transformation (see Devil Jin's Tekken 5 ending). Also, after Dragunov defeats Devil Jin, Dragunov can be seen dragging an unconscious Devil Jin by the horns.
- In the arcade beta-version of Tekken 6, Dragunov's name is spelled "Dragnov" ([1]). It is also spelled "Dragnov" in an issue of Arcadia ([2]), however, this name could have added post-scan.

A month later, military headquarters receive an investigative report regarding the mysterious object and decides to order one of the men working at the dig on a clandestine mission.

He acknowledges the mission with a silent nod and leaves for Japan.
[edit] Interludes
Stage 4: Raven
- Dragunov is walking through the Wolve's Den stage. An unseen person says, "So you're...". Hearing this, Dragunov turns his head slightly. The person is revealed to be Raven, who has his arms crossed. While Dragunov turns around to face Raven, Raven continues talking, saying, "I'm on to you and your organization. Give up and go back to Russia." The camera zooms in on Dragunov's face. Dragunov simply moves his head down and to the left slightly, and then he moves his head back up. Raven, who still has his arms crossed, says, "Prepare to die." After Dragunov wins the fight, Raven is shown laying on his back on the ground. Dragunov puts one of his feet on Raven's chest, and then he starts clenching one of his hands into a fist slowly while the camera is zoomed in on him.
Stage 8: Devil Jin
- Dragunov walks up to Devil Jin in the Winter Palace stage. Devil Jin tells him to leave. Dragunov looks at a photo. The camera zooms in on this photo to show what it is of. It appears to be an image of Devil Jin that was taken from his Tekken 5 ending ([3]). Dragunov lowers the hand that he is holding the photo with so that it is at his side. Then, Dragunov looks at Devil Jin. After Dragunov wins the fight, a closeup of Dragunov's face is shown as he is walking away from the place. The camera zooms lower and lower to show that Dragunov is dragging Devil Jin with him by his horns.
