Unknown is a character in the Tekken series. Unknown appeared in Tekken Tag Tournament as a playable character. This character hasn't made any other appearances. Unknown appears to be possessed by a wolf-like creature. The wolf-like creature accompanies Unknown during fights. It mimics Unknown's moves and actions. Both Unknown, who doesn't actually have a proper name, and the wolf-like creature that possesses her aren't actually a tag team, much like how Kazuya Mishima and Devil seem to be. The wolf-like creature actually possesses Unknown for it's own purpose, which is to complete itself, as shown in Unknown's ending. During gameplay, Unknown can change her fighting style, much like how Mokujin and Tetsujin can. However, there are three things that differentiate Mokujin and Tetsujin from Unknown. The first thing is that Mokujin and Tetsujin have to be switched out and in again to switch fighting styles, but Unknown can switch by the simple press of the R3 button. The second thing is that Unknown can't use the fighting styles of certain characters that Mokujin and Tetsujin can, such as the fighting styles of Prototype Jack, Jack-2, and Gun Jack. The third thing is that when playing against Unknown in Story mode, she has the ability to recover her health because she doesn't have a tag team partner (recovering health is usually restricted to the partner that is tagged out). Unknown starts a fight with the pre-fight animation, fighting stance, and fighting style of Jun Kazama. Also, Unknown has a tattoo on one of her arms that resembles Jin Kazama's tattoo. Like her name suggests, not much is known about Unknown (which includes her past history, and who she really is). Since Tekken Tag Tournament's release, Namco has not, to this day, provided any clear explanation on Unknown.

- Unknown can't mimic all of the styles that Mokujin and Tetsujin can. For example, Unknown can't mimic Prototype Jack, Jack-2, or Gun Jack, but Mokujin and Tetsujin can.
- Unlike Mokujin/Tetsujin, Unknown does not have to tag out in order to switch her fighting style. This can be done by simply pushing down R3 (right analog stick).
- A normal fight against Unknown is only one round even if the default settings are used, but because of this, the player must also deplete the potential health she would have been able to recover, had she been tagged out by a partner.
- Unknown appears in Ogre's Tekken Tag Tournament ending. In this ending, Ogre has defeated Jin Kazama, and he is about to consume Jin's soul. However, Unknown interrupts him, and it is implied that the two engage in a fight. Unknown is seen without the Wolf Demon. Her apparent independent and selfless intervention on the behalf of Jin furthers suspicions that she is Jin's lost mother.
- Unknown is the only character in Tekken Tag Tournament to have an actual movie as her ending, in place of a scene acted out by in-game animations.
- One theory about Unknown is that she is maybe a Kazama or a Mishima daughter in the future.
- If Unknown is using Kazuya Mishima's fighting style and has Devil as a partner Unknown can transform into Devil instead of tagging.

Unknown makes her first and last appearance as a playable character in Tekken Tag Tournament. However, Tekken Tag Tournament is not a part of the Tekken canon and has no impact on the Tekken story. After Tekken Tag Tournament, Unknown is never featured as a playable character, seen, or mentioned again.

A closeup of one of Unknown's eyes is shown. She blinks once. Then, a closeup of Unknown's face is shown. She is breathing heavily. The wolf-like creature appears behind her. He attempts to knock her out with a single punch. Unknown senses his presence and dodges the attack. The wolf-like creature smashes through a part of a pillar instead of hitting her. Unknown retaliates with a punch of her own. It connects, but her hand gets stuck in the wolf-like creature's stomach. She tries to free her hand, but the wolf-like creature absorbs her body before she can do that. After the wolf-like creature absorbs her body, he gains two legs, which he previously lacked. A few seconds later, Unknown begins to defeat the wolf-like creature from the inside. Unknown manages to get free from the wolf-like creature's body, supposedly killing him in the process. She lands on the ground and on her stomach. After a few seconds, Unknown gets up off of the ground slightly and smiles.
