  1. The sentence "as they have always been staples" referes to idea of the characters, not the necessarily the character themselves. Hence, Michelle, the first King and the first Kuma are replaced by their succesors, and Panda is added to Kuma (seperated by a slash), since it's basically a palette swap.
  2. The rumor is "yadda yadda yadda will return". The first Kuma is confirmed dead, the first King is, to our knowledge, also dead, so how can they return? Simple, they can't. When the rumor stated that King and Kuma would return, it was in reference to their successors. Once again, 2 characters are struck of the list.
  3. The argument of "There's a Chang in every game", for removing Panda, but adding Julia, does not stick one bit. The same argument can be made of Panda. It is a palette swap of Kuma, and there's been a Kuma in every game, hence Panda has just as much "right" to be there as Julia does.

In short, I'm changing it back, because as it is now (as seen at the top of the section), it sends out a completey different message that has little to do with the actual rumor at hand. --Hecko 07:12, 8 May 2007 (PDT)

Okay, that makes sense to me.
About King and Kuma: Kazuya Mishima was confirmed dead, but was resurrected by G Corporation, right? It's not impossible for King and / or Kuma to return, either. That's why I put them in. But, on second thought, I highly doubt they would resurrect either one of them in the same way that they resurrected Kazuya, so it's best to just keep them off of the list. Resurrected, cloned, something. But unlike King and Kuma, he hadn't been replace in the same manner. I write this because i see the picture when is seen the Character Select Menu of Tekken 6... If you can ubicate Julia Chang and see next to her... can you see at Anna... and next ti her... Are not this Mokujin?

If you read in sdtekken now is confirmated that is Jack-6, not Jack-5... Also, if you see an image with the picture of the Jack, you can see a japanese word and a "6"... Is not Jack-5...

No. Not yet. But they sure as hell BETTER do so after changing Yoshimitsu. Also, I have a question. FC f+2 U/F+4...wtf does that shit mean? "why can't they just say down rightpunch or w/e?" Because it takes too long to read and is harder to read and thus understand, since people mostly write juggles. Here's an example of a simple Bryan juggle:

d/f+3, u/f+3, d+3,2, 1,4
using what you suggested
down/forward+left kick, up/forward+left kick, down+left kick to right punch, left punch to right kick.

Why the heck does such an awesome game need another old guy as one of the characters? If Namco really needs to fill the spaces for more characters, just add in some of the ones that disappeared randomly without a known reason (such as Kunimitsu or Forest Law).

Although I am a fan of many old characters and their fighting styles, I really hope Dr. Abel won't be a playable character. Kunimitsu should return, in my opinion, but, then again, she has a very small chance to return (see this). A replacement (a (younger) female wearing the same or a similar mask with the same name) shouldn't be out of the question. We haven't seen Kunimitsu at all in Tekken 6, so I don't know. Maybe she'll be revealed as a playable character soon or maybe she'll be playable on the PlayStation 3 version. I guess Marshall and Forest could both be in the game. You're right. Jun is not confirmed to be dead. She's only missing. Please read this. I would love it if Jun returned (boy, that's a surprise, isn't it?)! Unfortunately, I doubt it'll happen. RJX has got a point. Xiaoyu is already trying to save him from evil. There might be more than one person that will try to do this, though. I vaguely remember reading in the T3 storyline that Jin witnesses the death of his mother (or maybe she was just gone when he returned home from being marked, I'm not sure), but Jun's spirit seems to make a presence in T4, so taking these things into consideration plus the fact that Asuka is present in the game, the return of Jun is made highly unlikely. --Hecko 11:00, 26 September 2007 (PDT)

The franchise will have to end eventually, and by the looks of it any additions to Tekken 6 will be getting pretty bad. eg. I'm not too excited about the new "rage system", I it lessening the need for skill. So pretty much if there are any games after Tekken 6 they are not going to be as good as earlier games. This is why Namco will most likely quit while they are ahead. Or they will take the path of FF and no-one wants that in a fighting game.


To KingIsBest: What do you mean by FF? To topic: Tekken 6 could be the last Tekken but I think Namco said that another Tekken would be the last. But maybe they dumbed down Tekken in Tekken 6 to make it like a good and last sequel.

FF is likely a reference to Final Fantasy, another game series that has gone on for ages (though, they usually have a compelling story, for the most part).

Tekken taking the path of Final Fantasy... Well it would work, say one hundred years later with new characters... But I don't think anyone would want this. I can see Tekken possibly hitting a Tekken 8, but not much further. Heihachi has to die sometime soon, doesn't he? ^_^

Really Tekken could go far, but I hate most of the new additions to Tekken 6, but that's my opinion. But then, Tekken 4 fell, and Tekken 5 kinda compensated. I have little to say.

Final Fantasy. I don't think could go as long as FF. It's up to its XIIIth sequel(13th sequel). I have the tenth. I think the last would be the ninth because "Tekken 10" sounds weird.

There's no such thing as "Super Devil Jin". Unless you count what Devil Jin transforms into in his Tekken 5 / Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection ending / epilogue, but it is unnamed. Besides, the mid boss is Jin Kazama, and the final boss is Azazel. That's it. I don't know why Jin doesn't transform into Devil Jin after being defeated, though. Maybe because Devil Jin has already been a sub-boss before, and maybe because it would be too similar to Tekken 2. JunKazamaFan 12:54, 28 November 2007 (PST)

There are no unlockable characters in Tekken 6.
And they dumbed down Tekken in Tekken 6 so it isn't sad. This is the only Tekken I don't want but I'll just buy it to see how bad it is. (DJF) Yea there is actually unlockale characters if u look at the character select screen in google images u can c r=there r ? marks...

Yes it does. It's to make the select screen a block, with an even number of squares. So that's 40 squares (I think), 20x2.

What the hell? One thing wrong with that, they ain't a palette swap, they have a different set of moves all together. Also, Namco's recent introduction of ultimate characters are all so easy to win with because they have moves that aren't combos, so just two buttons pressed together, or two buttons and a direction pulls off their ultimate moves.

Though I do think differently to non-canon Tekkens. I am all for Jinpachi, Nancy and Azazel featuring in TTT2, if.
