[edit] Confirmed character?

According to IP Address 65.11.204.233, "Bob" is a new Tekken 6 character. --Sakura 17:06, 28 August 2007 (PDT)

Bob is the nickname of Hwoarang, so I suspect s/he didn't know that, but read on some forum that "Bob is gonna be in T6" (or something similar). So it's probably a mistake on his/her part. --Hecko 01:19, 29 August 2007 (PDT)
(EDIT:) I would like to retract my statement made in hasty judgement. Will Bob is the nickname of Hwoarang, it seems that there is now an actual character named Bob, as seen here. I will write what little I have learned about him in an artice. --Hecko 02:26, 29 August 2007 (PDT)
Okay. Thanks for working on his article, Hecko X. I apologize for removing his name from the confirmed Tekken 6 characters list. I did not know about this when I did that. JunKazamaFan 03:09, 29 August 2007 (PDT)
Sure, no worries. --Hecko 03:10, 29 August 2007 (PDT)
O_O Wow. --Sakura 06:38, 29 August 2007 (PDT)
That's what I was thinking when I first found out about this. JunKazamaFan 07:39, 29 August 2007 (PDT)
"Bob" is the most outlandish video game character ever. --Sakura 08:50, 29 August 2007 (PDT)
He doesn't seem outlandish to me. Compared to Alex, Mokujin, Ogre, True Ogre, Roger, Roger Jr., Kuma, and Panda, as well as many other Tekken characters, Bob's pretty normal. JunKazamaFan 11:23, 20 October 2007 (PDT)

[edit] BGM

This is a random suggestion, but for the stages' background music, do you think there'd be some sorta way to put the music in the article (if you agree with this idea)? --RaiJinX

The only thing I can think of at the moment is embedding a YouTube video of the stages' background music. I think it's a great idea. JunKazamaFan 17:26, 30 August 2007 (PDT)
Ok. --Sakura 19:08, 30 August 2007 (PDT)
...I have a video with the 'Airport' BGM for Tekken 4. Should I put that in? --RaiJinX
Yes. JunKazamaFan 19:07, 8 September 2007 (PDT)
Done. --RaiJinX
Thank you. JunKazamaFan 06:48, 9 September 2007 (PDT)
You're welcome. --Rai

[edit] New Arcadia Images

I sew (or saw?) the new Arcadia's photos from tekken 6, in sdtekken.com and in the third photo shows Lili, Dragunov, Armor King, Devil Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi, Jin, Zafina, Leo, Miguel, Bob and... Jinpachi!

That's mean that he'll com back?

It's "saw". Do you mean this photo? I think it's just part of the advertising for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online. The image is divided into two sections (one for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online and one for Tekken 6). Jinpachi is on the Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online side. JunKazamaFan 19:35, 2 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Help?

So... um.. need help with anything? --RaiJinX

I can't think of anything that I need help with at the moment, but I'll let you know if I do need help with something. JunKazamaFan 16:58, 5 September 2007 (PDT)
Ok. --RaiJinX
I've been thinking about adding some information about characters in Tekken 6 (new outfits, moves, and other things). You can help me with that if you want to. JunKazamaFan 14:29, 17 September 2007 (PDT)
Ok, I'll try. --Rai
Thanks! JunKazamaFan 08:23, 23 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Extra Galleries

Um, yeah. For those characters with extra pictures either from games they didn't appear in (or just random ones that looks like they belong in that category), couldn't we just put those pictures in like, another gallery, if not for the game those pictures were/would be from, but just a random one, like "Random gallery" or something like that? --RJX

Like Devil's Tekken 4 image and Armor King's two Tekken 3 images? It would look better to create a gallery or galleries for these images rather than placing them in a section of a character's article. I think we should put them in galleries such as "Non-playable characters/Tekken 4 Gallery" and "Non-playable characters/Tekken 3 Gallery". JunKazamaFan 16:50, 7 September 2007 (PDT)
Yeah, like those. --RJX
All right. I've created these articles: Non-playable Characters/Tekken 1 Gallery, Non-playable Characters/Tekken 2 Gallery, Non-playable Characters/Tekken 3 Gallery, Non-playable Characters/Tekken 4 Gallery, Non-playable Characters/Tekken 5 Gallery, and Non-playable Characters/Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Gallery. JunKazamaFan 14:44, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
Good job. --RaiJinX
Thank you! JunKazamaFan 14:53, 26 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] All things Tekken that aren't in the series

Well, I was kind of thinking: just like how this site has an article for Tekken: The Motion Picture, the Tekken movie and Death by Degrees, couldn't it have one for Tekken Forever? Just a thought. --RaiJinX

There is an article for Tekken Forever: Tekken Forever.
Woah, really? I never knew that lol. By the way, who said that? --Rai
No worries. I said that. I just forgot to sign it, for some reason. JunKazamaFan 06:47, 9 September 2007 (PDT)
LOL. --RaiJinX
Oh, and I have 2 questions: 1. how come I never see words on the artwork (like from that site I was on)? 2. Should I put those on, or will you look for something better? --RaiJinX
1. I don't know why. I'd like to know. 2. For now, you can upload those images. I haven't found anything better. JunKazamaFan 13:50, 10 September 2007 (PDT)
Ok. I'll try to upload as much as I can! --Rai
Ok, I uploaded some things. --RaiJinX
Thank you. None of those images are from Tekken Forever, though. They are probably from this. However, the images in black and white that you sent me are from Tekken Forever. It's strange, because the actual Tekken Forever comic is in color. It's also strange that those images don't have the dialogue in them. Oh, well. JunKazamaFan 20:05, 10 September 2007 (PDT)
My bad. This one is from Tekken Forever. JunKazamaFan 20:36, 10 September 2007 (PDT)
Hm... this is very interesting... --RaiJinX

Ok, what about the Tekken Maxim photoshoot? --Sakura 05:00, 22 September 2007 (PDT)

Sure. We could have an article about it. JunKazamaFan 12:56, 22 September 2007 (PDT)
Ok... so how do we start it? --RaiJinX
I've started the article (Tekken Maxim Photoshoot), but I think it needs more work. I added the video, the images, and a small description of the video. JunKazamaFan 17:20, 22 September 2007 (PDT)
Ok. I'll try to see what I can do. --Rai
Thank you. JunKazamaFan 08:22, 23 September 2007 (PDT)
No problem. --RaiJinX

[edit] Jin Kazama

I just remembered that Jin was also in this game, NamcoXCapcom, which never came out in America. Should we add that in? --RaiJinX

Yes, we should. JunKazamaFan 16:47, 11 September 2007 (PDT)
Ok, except I don't really know much about it (other than stuff from Wikipedia). --RaiJinX
Neither do I. JunKazamaFan 09:59, 12 September 2007 (PDT)
Wow this sucks. --Sakura 12:29, 17 September 2007 (PDT)
You said it. Well, I added what little I know about Namco X Capcom to Jin Kazama's article's "Trivia" section. JunKazamaFan 13:00, 17 September 2007 (PDT)
Well, I read something on Wiki about him teaming up with Ryu and I think Taki. --RaiJinX
Really? I only read about him teaming up with Ryu and wanting to defeat Devil. I didn't find anything about him teaming up with Taki. Can you provide a link to where it says this? JunKazamaFan 13:46, 17 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] have a look at this

I found it on a site that was trying to hotlink images off Tekkenpedia, perhaps we could re-do a better version of it?

It looks pretty good. Yes, we can re-do a better version of it. JunKazamaFan 09:57, 12 September 2007 (PDT)
How long did this take? --RaiJinX
It looks like it took quite a while to make. JunKazamaFan 06:00, 16 September 2007 (PDT)
Yeah. --RaiJinX

Wang is the grandfather of Michelle!! 0_o

He is? --Rai

That's so bad! Wang never was the Michelle's grandfather and the Doctor Boskonovitch isn't dead! Also, Kunimitsu isn't confirmated like dead! Like Nina says, "What a nuiscance!"

Wang is not Michelle's grandfather (that would explain why they share some moves, but it is not true). Also, we don't know for sure if Boskonovitch and Kunimitsu are dead or not. Yeah, this obviously has its problems. JunKazamaFan 12:11, 16 September 2007 (PDT)
I see... --RaiJinX
This has extreeeeemely big issues, because it is set up like a family tree, and a poor one at that. E.g. it doesn't say that the Demon in Jinpachi also awoke Mokujin, who built the newer Jacks or several other connections. This will, however, I don't have time to finish it for many weeks, due to my studies and lack of Internet at home. --Hecko 04:36, 17 September 2007 (PDT)
I agree with you. Your version is superior. The only thing better about this one is that there are images of every character. Well, I'll wait for you to finish it. JunKazamaFan 13:51, 17 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Zafina's page

Thanks for answering my question. I only removed it because it was a really random question and I got insulted for asking a question on one of the pages (for Snow Castle). --RaiJinX 8:47 am

No problem. I saw that. You're allowed to ask whatever question you want. It doesn't matter if it's random. That person's comment was quite rude and uncalled for. JunKazamaFan 05:59, 16 September 2007 (PDT)
^_^ --RaiJinX

[edit] Hey

Tanjobi omedeto (happy birthday)! --Sakura 12:30, 17 September 2007 (PDT)

Thank you! JunKazamaFan 12:33, 17 September 2007 (PDT)
^_^ --From the R to the J to the X

Happy Birthday from me too! KingIsBest

Thanks, KingIsBest! JunKazamaFan 19:22, 17 September 2007 (PDT)

Happy birthday from me three ^_^ --Hecko 00:43, 18 September 2007 (PDT)

Looks like you have yourself a birthday party, JKF. It's too bad that you can't have cake over the Internet. --RaiJinX
Thank you, Hecko X! Yeah, it does, RaiJinX. Yeah, I wish I could have cake over the Internet. JunKazamaFan 17:41, 18 September 2007 (PDT)
Parties are awesome. --RaiJinX
They sure are. JunKazamaFan 18:37, 18 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Character Relationship page/hello!

Hey, it's nitronia, havn't been on much but i've done edits here and there, just two things,

  • I noticed you've been doing work/corrections/sorting bad edits on the character Relationships page, how is it at the moment?
  • and what's a peroid? i've seen you add them to articles and i wasn't sure what they are lol. Nitronia 17:01 19th Spetember 2007 (GMT)
Yeah, I have. The "Character Relationships" page is fine now. It matches up with the "Character Relationships" sections of the characters. You mean a period? It looks like this: . A period is used to end sentences. JunKazamaFan 10:56, 19 September 2007 (PDT)
oh cool thanks man! (>'.')>
No problem. JunKazamaFan 13:02, 20 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Ken Mishima

Should Ken's images go into some sort of gallery? --RaiJinX

Yes. I'm trying to think of a name for it. I guess "Ken Mishima Gallery" will work. JunKazamaFan 13:53, 24 September 2007 (PDT)
That works. --RaiJin
All right. JunKazamaFan 14:18, 24 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Hey!

Hey there, buddy!

Will we EVER get to see what Mr. Rochefort looks like? Angie Y. 16:52, 24 September 2007 (PDT)

Maybe in Tekken 6 we will :) --Sakura 16:58, 24 September 2007 (PDT)
Really? Angie Y. 20:52, 24 September 2007 (PDT)
Hey. We'll probably see what Mr. Rochefort looks like in Tekken 6. Most likely, he'll be featured in Lili's prologue and / or her epilogue. JunKazamaFan 21:26, 24 September 2007 (PDT)
I can't wait for winter, then. =D Angie Y. 13:38, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
I know exactly how you feel, Angie Y.. --Sakura 14:46, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
I can't wait, either. JunKazamaFan 04:06, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
Looks like we're all on the same page. --Sakura 14:54, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
Yeah. JunKazamaFan 14:59, 26 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] ...楽しみ...

Before you agree with me about things, please tell me if it really is a stupid idea. I seem to be good at coming up with those kind of ideas. --雷仁X 15:19, 25 September 2007 (PDT)

About the Japanese (both the topic title and you name), I'm a bit confused, what where you hoping to say? Please be specific about the name, since it can be spelt in different ways according to if you wanted "thunder person", "Raijin" (Name of the god of thunder) and a bunch of other stuff (just if you want it to be correct). As it is now, it says "Thunder Benevolence". (EDIT) I just saw that that most likely was the way you wanted it, so I'm just curious about the "pleasure"-thing. I suspect you wanted to say "please", but I'm not certain. --Hecko 15:37, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
I use it all together because Jin's element appears to be like thunder/electricity and I think it sounds cool. As for the "Jin" (as in "man") thing, I meant that I rarely use it, not in Japanese language. .... --Sakura 15:55, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
Okay, I'm fine with that, just wanted to make sure. But I'm still curious as to why you called the topic "Pleasure". --Hecko 15:57, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
...it was supposed to be "fun," sarcastically. --Sakura 16:09, 25 September 2007 (PDT)
I believe it can be read both "pleasure" and fun. The Japanese part of your name is read "Thunder Benevolence" and, in full, it's read "Thunder Benevolence X" / "Thunder Benevolence 10". I believe this: 雷人, would be "Thunder Man", and this: 雷人X, would mean "Thunder Man X" or "Thunder Man 10". JunKazamaFan 03:33, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
Oh, right, the topic. RaiJinX, I wouldn't lie to you or anyone. I'm not a liar. If I say it's a good idea, then, at least at the time, I mean it. I believe I had my doubts a little while after making the article, but I guess I forgot about it. I believe Hecko X jogged my memory. Creating an entire article about Yoshimitsu (Soul Calibur) was my (stupid) idea, not yours. Your ideas aren't stupid. I haven't read any ideas of yours that are stupid. Don't worry. You just wanted to add sections of Soul Calibur Yoshimitsu to Tekken Yoshimitsu's article. I believe that idea would have worked better than mine. It would be unnecessary, considering that they are different characters with the same name, but it would have worked better. Creating an entire article about a Soul Calibur character on a place about Tekken related stuff...yeah. What was I thinking?!

Your friend, JunKazamaFan. JunKazamaFan 03:58, 26 September 2007 (PDT)

As I understand it, it world also mean "enjoyment", but I guess "fun" would apply as well. And yes, 雷人 would be "Thunder Man" (as in "a person of thunder"). But if you read RaiJinX's user page, you would see her reasoning for using those Kanji. --Hecko 04:04, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
Oh, yeah. That, too. All right. I've read RaiJinX's user page, and I've seen her reasoning for using those kanji. 雷 comes from Jin's element (electricity / thunder / lightning), 仁 is Jin's name written in kanji, and 人 comes from how it is pronounced (Jin). X is simply the twenty-fourth letter of the alphabet, it's very cool to add to the end of things, it's also used in Math, and it's the Roman numeral for ten (not the reason she uses it). JunKazamaFan 04:44, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
... --Sakura 14:53, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
... JunKazamaFan 14:56, 26 September 2007 (PDT)
I always thought that they were one and the same yoshimitsu. It'd make sense. Same clan, same name, tho he'd have to be REALLY old...tho he may be a cyborg of sorts. notice his mechanical arm.Chipmonk328
Yoshimitsu (Soul Calibur) lost his arm in the game "Soul Calibur" (according to his "Soul Calibur" story). Yoshimitsu (Tekken) lost his arm sometime after the first tournament. Both only lost one arm. Also, Yoshimitsu (Tekken) was completely human in the first Tekken. So, they are both different characters. By the way, welcome to Tekkenpedia! JunKazamaFan 22:49, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
I always thought the same thing, too, but this is Tekkenpedia, not Tekkensupposedrelatedthingspedia. --RJX
Oh. That's true. Nice name, by the way (Tekkensupposedrelatedthingspedia)! JunKazamaFan 05:33, 30 September 2007 (PDT)
Oh, thanks. I guess I forgot to add the 'and' between 'Tekken' and 'supposedly.'
You're welcome. Oh, okay. JunKazamaFan 05:46, 30 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Char relations

Just wanted to give you a pat on the back for your hard work with making sure the Character Relations page and the sections of the same name in the character articles are the same. I'm not much for repetitive work, you see, so it's boring enough for me to go through everything, correcting, rewriting, rephrasing and whatnot the first time around. If I had to do the copy/paste thing too, I'd probably end up killing someone out of frustration. --Hecko 16:43, 29 September 2007 (PDT)

Oh. Thank you! JunKazamaFan 20:00, 29 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Archiving

How do you archive and what's it for? --Sakura 18:39, 29 September 2007 (PDT)

Create a page with the title "User:(insert username here)/Archives". This page will list your archives (Archive 1, Archive 2, etc.). Then, copy topics from your "User talk" page, and add them to an archive titled "User talk:(insert username here)/Archive(insert number here)". The point of this is to keep your "User talk" page from becoming too long. Mine had forty-eight topics on it. Hecko X suggested that I archive some of it, so I archived half of it. JunKazamaFan 20:14, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
Ok. Thanks for the incite. --Sakura 20:17, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
No problem. JunKazamaFan 20:19, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
Also, when a page reaches a certain amount of characters (fills 34Kb), some browser no longer views that page correctly. --Hecko 22:10, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
Oh. Well, that, too. JunKazamaFan 22:23, 29 September 2007 (PDT)
Oh. Ok. --Sakura 05:15, 30 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Hey

Sorry I have not been doing anything on the site because school had started and I barely had any time because I join the volleyball team at my school so it took all my time but now volleyball season is over now I can start doing updates also happy late late birthday I did not know when it was but I seen the comments they left you and I hope you had wonderful day on your birthday bye. from user Maria

I think it was September 17th. ^_^ Hope you stop by for next year's party! --Sakura 13:28, 30 September 2007 (PDT)
That's okay. I understand. Thank you. I did. Bye. Yes, RJX, it was September 17th. JunKazamaFan 16:52, 30 September 2007 (PDT)
Ok. I'll try to remember that! --Rai
All right. JunKazamaFan 18:06, 30 September 2007 (PDT)
 :) --Sakura 19:07, 30 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Talk:Tekken 5

Is there any way to protect this page? I know spamming is random, but this page gets it the worst! --RaiJinX

I can protect this page RaiJinX, because I saw what they put I was about to reverse the edits but you beat me well thanks I will protect it. from user Maria
All done but, I am only blocking it from unregistered users so you can still edit it. from user Maria
Alright, thanks for the help Maria! --Sakura 16:49, 1 October 2007 (PDT)
I believe the "Tekken" article gets spammed the most. You can see how many times here. Thanks, Maria! By the way, RaiJinX, you should be a Sysop. You've earned it. I should have mentioned this a long time ago. By the way, I'm sorry I haven't been online all day. JunKazamaFan 00:32, 2 October 2007 (PDT)
You really think so? It's ok. Oh, and maybe we should protect that page, too. --Sakura 14:37, 2 October 2007 (PDT)
Yes, I do. All right. Yes, the "Tekken" article should be protected. JunKazamaFan 17:15, 2 October 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Tekken Forever

Could we make some sort of gallery for Tekken Forever? I'm trying to upload the rest of the pages, but I can't remember which ones I've already uploaded -_-. If we do create a gallery and put the images there, then I can see the ones I've already uploaded. --Sakura 13:12, 3 October 2007 (PDT)

Yes. I should have done this before. JunKazamaFan 17:27, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
Ok. --Sakura 17:30, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
All right. I'm finished. JunKazamaFan 18:23, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
Ok, thanks. I'll be sure to upload the rest of the pages tomorrow (or sometime soon). --Sakura 18:26, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
No problem. Okay. By the way, thanks for adding descriptions of each character in Tekken: The Motion Picture! JunKazamaFan 18:32, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
No problem. Anytime! --Sakura 18:35, 3 October 2007 (PDT)

I was thinking we could put the text where the pages are (so visitors could look at the images at the same time without having to scroll back and forth up and down to look at the text, too). I've already done the first page. --RaiJinX

I've been thinking about that. Yes, this way will work better. JunKazamaFan 06:53, 8 October 2007 (PDT)
Ok. Thanks. --Sakura 07:07, 8 October 2007 (PDT)
No problem. JunKazamaFan 07:08, 8 October 2007 (PDT)
I have a way better idea, I just need to know, does anyone have the actual comic book, so they know where the text bubbles are supposed to go? --Hecko 07:12, 8 October 2007 (PDT)
Okay. I have the comic book. JunKazamaFan 07:17, 8 October 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Table of Contents

Hey JunKazamaFan, I have an idea do you think if we can have a table of contents page like in the books it shows the chapters but the table of contents for Tekkenpedia will show all the articles we have because remember long ago I thought that there was not an article for Tekken: The Motion Picture, and not long ago someone also thought that there was not a page for Tekken Forever. In the main page we can put Table of Contents of Tekkenpedia <-- that's an example name, but you can decide just calle it Table of Contents, but what do you think about it JunKazamaFan???.

From user Maria.

Sounds like a good idea to me. --Sakura 14:12, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
That's a great idea! I'll go with the name "Table of Contents". By the way, I believe it was RaiJinX who thought that there wasn't a "Tekken Forever" article. JunKazamaFan 17:16, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
Yep, that was me. --Sakura 17:29, 3 October 2007 (PDT)
Oh, okay. JunKazamaFan 18:25, 3 October 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Asuka's father

Thanks for fixing up my mistake, I'm not quite sure why I thought he was dead. KingIsBest 15:28, 5 October 2007 (AEST)

No problem. Oh, and don't worry. Everyone makes mistakes every now and then. JunKazamaFan 01:17, 5 October 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Outfits sections for each character

I think there should be outfits sections for each character. Angie Y. 10:51, 6 October 2007 (PDT)

Isn't that what the gallery is for? --Sakura 10:56, 6 October 2007 (PDT)
I think Angie means describing each outfit in a section. I like this idea. JunKazamaFan 11:00, 6 October 2007 (PDT)
So that would be two outfits per game (that we already have images of), plus alternative outfits for some, plus a gazillion extra useless things they can equip in T5, T5:DR and T6, not to mention the same gazillion things, but in different colors? Pretty long darn sections they're gonna be. I'm not saying the idea isn't usable, I'm just saying, I ain't gonna be the one to do it (That being said, someone is bound to come up with some flawed design which leaves miles and miles of white space that I'm gonna have to fix, so I'll have to end up doing it anyway...) --Hecko 22:28, 6 October 2007 (PDT)
Whoa! Who said anything about customizations? I just thought we would describe their default outfits. That shouldn't take up too much space, since all that is needed is a brief description. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to. 05:27, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
If that's the case, why can't people just look at the pictures..? Like, if I wanna see Asuka T5 Costume, I go here. --Hecko 05:55, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
That works, too. But what if there aren't any images of other costumes (particularly the alternative ones in Tekken and Tekken 2). I've tried, but I can't find images of them. JunKazamaFan 09:05, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
Indeed, that is a problem. --Hecko 10:03, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
Yes, it is. JunKazamaFan 10:36, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
By the way, I like those new images that you uploaded! Thank you for uploading them! Where did you get them? JunKazamaFan 10:58, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
From Tekken 5. It has an arcade mode. --Hecko 13:07, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
Oh. Well, that explains Marshall Law's outfit and King's outfit. JunKazamaFan 13:15, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
