Armor King I/Outfits

As his name suggests, Armor King I always wears armor through the Tekken series as his Player 1 outfit. For the first time in Tekken Tag Tournament, and then in every appearance of him, he also had an outfit without the armor.

Tekken

In Tekken, Armor King was introduced as a palette swap for his rival King and was given two almost identical outfits. Like many of the sub-boss characters in Tekken, the only difference between the two attires is their color.

  • Player 1:

His Player 1 outfit is selected pressing one one the punch buttons. Being the armored version of King, Armor King's attire consists of an armor and jaguar mask and tail similar to King's. The differences between their masks are that Armor King's is black instead of a classic fur yellow, it has longer teeth and has a red eye with a scar on it. The tail is also darker than king's, but curiously is a different color than Armor King's mask. The armor consists of a black body part, black shoulder pads with a sting on them, a pair of white arm protections with stings, and white metallic shin-pads and foot protections. He also wears black trousers, black gloves with nine white rivets, and seem to wear a suit with long sleeves under the armor.

  • Player 2:

His Player 2 outfit is identical to Player 1, but has every black part of it changed to blue except for mask, boots, and gloves.

  • Player 1:

Unchanged from Tekken 1.

  • Player 2:

unchanged from Tekken 1.

  • Intro Sequence:

In Tekken 2, he appears in the intro sequence and his ending with a little different version of his Player 1 outfit. The main difference is that the armor is gray instead of black. He now doesn't wear gloves and a long sleeved suit under the armor, the suit is now sleeveless and barely visible in game. He has some armor parts around his hip, and the white parts of it are now the same color as the rest of the armor. His skin's color is visible for the first time, and is darker than King I's.

Tekken Tag Tournament

In Tekken Tag Tournament, as every other character, Armor King returns with his old outfits and was given a new one. They, however, are not based upon his in-game appearance in Tekken 2, but his movies appearance.
