Is this for real? Those trailers look terrible. Samuel (talk) 12:51, 2 August 2014 (UTC)

Unfortunately so. This is the prequel to the first god forsaken Tekken live action movie that people have been talking about for a while. Toilethead101 22:52 2 August 2014 (PHT)
Hahaha, wow. The first live action movie was bad, but this, this is on a whole new level of terrible. Maybe it will be so bad it'll become a cult movie like "The Room" did. Samuel (talk) 01:07, 3 August 2014 (UTC)

Personally, I kind of like the first live-action Tekken film. Does it have its faults? Too many to list, but despite it all, it's still a pretty entertaining movie, and I've got to hand it to the actors for putting on what I would call good performances, even if their characters were butchered beyond belief (poor Steve...).

Coming from one of the most hardcore Tekken fans... Tekken 2: Kazuya's Revenge is a flat-out terrible movie. Reading the back of the DVD cover and finding that Bryan Fury's name was misspelled with an "i" practically destroyed any tiny bit of optimism I may have had (come on, even the first movie got that one right). This is essentially Tekken in name only, with Kazuya, Bryan/Brian, and Heihachi bearing no resemblance to their video game counterparts, and their stories do not match up in the slightest.

In closing, I would not recommend this film to anyone. It won't please Tekken fans, because the vast majority of the 89-minute run time (which feels like an eternity) has nothing to do with the games, and with nearly every fight being forgettable, I don't think it would appeal to martial arts/action fans, either. But here's the one good thing about Tekken 2: Kazuya's Revenge: it has made me appreciate the first three Tekken movies a whole lot more! Sure, they're far from perfect, but at least they're deserving of carrying the Tekken moniker (yes, even the live-action version, at least it attempted to somewhat tie in with the games).

Sorry for the long rant, but man, was this awful! Definitely has my vote for one of the worst films of all time, and it pains me deeply to say that about something bearing the Tekken name.

My god, this looks horrible. This is WORSE than the first one, and that one was horrible! --Tovosh (talk) 18:30, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
