Help please!

While I think that template shows some promise, it doesn't need to be on every character/tekken installment. The wiki is only about Tekken, hence we don't need to group it with footer links like that. Likewise the character relationships link at the bottom of each page serves a very similar purpose to that template, that is, allowing people to find other pages to read about easily. Perhaps have a think about a way to format the character relationsips area nicely? Samuel 04:21, 14 March 2008 (PDT)

Well, we dealt with Tip235 for a couple of months, I believe. I don't know exactly how long we dealt with him, though. I'm just glad that he's gone now! He was quite annoying. He might be using another alias (he had a good number of them before they were all blocked). I don't think he would just leave, either. I've had some trouble with him on my YouTube channel, too, before I blocked his two accounts. But, I haven't seen any suspicious activities that would make me think that he returned to Tekkenpedia for a while now.

Because then you can visit it all in one go and not have to look up the various character pages. After creation, we can add the information to the various character relations. It's just an idea anyway...

Hecko Xtalk - blog - anime rants 08:50, 5 August 2008 (UTC) Not to be a spoil-sport, but it sounds like a pretty bad idea. Try to think of how the page would actually look. Abrupt and much to similar to the already existing Character Relations article. It would be much wiser to simply put them in the respective character articles were they are relevant and in context, so that the people reading the character articles can read everything about the character "all in one go", instead of having to visit a second article for a single line or two. But don't let this bring down your spirits, if you have ideas, be sure to tell. Some may work, others may not, that's how the world works. Hell, I've also had the majority of my ideas shot down for whatever reason, and compared to those that were accepted, it's like 1 to 5.

Thanks for telling me this! / I'm not sure. When I deleted those images, everything returned to normal, and every time that I tried to put those images in Lili's gallery, it froze up. I think they took up way too much space on the website, which is why they froze the website up. Plus, they weren't really necessary images. I don't think I want to risk this happening again, so I will refrain from uploading them again.

Images depicting the same

Hecko Xtalk - blog - anime rants 23:42, 25 September 2008 (UTC) When uploading an image depicting the same as another image (e.g. compare this to the image called Leo.jpg), but only bigger/better quality/clearer/etc., upload it on top of the existing image, i.e. use the "Upload a new version of this file"-function. For one thing, it saves space, for another, it saves time, since you won't have to go around editing links, and I won't have to clean up all the duplicated files.

TALK - 10:32, 29 September 2008 (UTC) I believe Jin's "Just Frame" moves are "Electric Wind Godfist" (f,N,d~d/f:2_f~N~d~d/f:2) in Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament, and "Electric Thrust Godfist (f,N,d~d/f:1) and Electric Wind Hook Fist" (f,N,d~d/f:2) in Tekken 4 and onwards. He also has the infamous "Just Frame Laser Scraper" (b,f+2<1<d+2°_d/f+2°) move (which reminds me, we need an article for this move) in Tekken 4 (a video of said move). Devil Jin's Just Frame move is "Electric Wind Godfist" (f,N,d~d/f:2). These are the only ones that I can think of. I hope I've helped you out. kazama bloodline

Hay JunKazamaFan, I know you know a lot about tekken, I have heard about you on a few sites, you are popular. On the Devil Gene page, I wanted to add the kazama bloodline to the Devil Gene article, due to the kazama blood's affect on the Devil Gene. I suceeded in adding the section, as a suitable part of the article. I also made a section base on the kazama bloodline on the Devil Gene's discussion page, there we talk about the what sourch should be added, but then the discussion when to another topic on the how the concept of "Devil" change during Tekken 4. I speculate that The Devil Gene concept changes the concept of Angel being apart of kazuya's soul which makes it non canon to the present story. In this discussion we also talk about Devil being refer to the Devil gene, meaning that Devil could be a life form, living within kazuya. I will be happy for you to join us and read our source and gives us your opinion on the Discussion.

Character Page Layout

Hey, I'm not sure who's in charge of Character pages but I have been attempting to find out for a few weeks now. I would like to discuss changing the layout of character pages to something a little more streamlined, uniformed and pleasing to the eye. I've been working on a prototype using Yoshimitsu as an example as he has the most appearances in various media. If I could show it to you and get your opinion that would great. Thanks.

Images

I hope I don't offend you, you do great work around here and you have been around infinitely longer than I have but I can't help but question the quality of some of the images you upload. Take these images for example: [File:Wang - Tekken Tag Tournament - Ending.jpg] [File:Tiger and Eddy - Tekken Tag Tournament - Ending.jpg] They are of such poor quality I'm not sure what they would even be useful for. I can't imagine a time when anyone would need or want to see these images. Especially now that TTTHD is coming out. Had you a plan of where to put them when you uploaded them? I'll be honest, the galleries are looking like a bit of a dump site. I think quality over quantity is really key to making the site look more professional. Also, the images have such long names, it makes them extremely hard to work with. Again, I don't mean to offend, I am only talking about a small number of the many useful images you do upload. I'm just trying to think of ways to improve the site and since your an admin I hope we can open up a dialogue. --Skikes 02:34, 13 October 2011 (PDT)

Sorry, I do tend to get a bit carried away when searching for images that I think would be useful. I am not offended at all, I agree with what you're saying. The galleries are getting a bit bulky now, especially for certain characters. I can get rid of images that are unneeded and unnecessary to clean them up. By the way, I really appreciate the work you've done around here!

I'm glad to hear that =) I've been worried, since I've been around everyone else seems to have disappeared lol I think the best solution before we tackle the issue of image quality should be to implement sub-categories for galleries. Similar to the sub-categories of image galleries of the game pages. I think this will work well for the character galleries too. Maybe separated into Art, screenshots and promotional images (maybe more like seperating TTT and TTTHD screensshots, anything else?) and merge T5 with T5DR and T6 with T6BR since none of the character pages actually direct to those sections any more. I'd be happy to help, you could start at A and I'll start at Z and we'll meet in the middle. Then when everything is categorized it will be easy to see which images fall below standards. Requesting change on the Main Page

Hello there. On the main page, on the games list, the years are mixed. For example, for Tekken 1, TTT and TTT2 (among others), it says '1994', '1999' and '2011', which are the arcade release years. But on other games, it shows the console releases, like Tekken 2 (1996) and Tekken 5 (2005), among others.

I'd suggest you to change the console release years into the arcade release years, because the games were originally released on arcades. So basically, Tekken 2 should become 1995, Tekken 3 1996, Tekken 4 2001, Tekken 5 2004 etc.
