[edit] Agreement

Hey!

I totally agree with your selection (mostly). It sounds a lot better than most people's thoughts on who should play who in this movie.

The thing I hate the most about it is that they added that "Zheng" guy to the movie. I mean, what is he, a Kilik reject? Jin never had any friends, other than Xiaoyu, who came later on in his life. Total blasphemy, I say.

Either way, I'm not expecting much from this movie; it'd be nice if I did though. I know all Tekken fans would like to get something nice out of it! ^_^

-- RaiJinX

I think that this "Zheng" is inspired in our "Feng"...

But Jin and Feng Wei aren't even friends! --RaiJinX Yes.. XD

What? Yes? --RJX

No, no, i'm joking...

...riiight... Sorry about that. --RJX

OMG!!I'm just confused I ve heard a lot of versions of Tekken basic story@_@ In the first i ve heard about a young man(maybe Jin)Holding a big power In the second I've heard about two childhood friends(no idea who they are)Xiaoyu and Jin are friends but not childhood!---Izumi-Chan---

Well, I think it's about Jin (the young man) and some random rouge monk named "Zheng" who wants to save Jin from his inner demons. If they're taking so long to make this movie it better be good. --Sakura 06:21, 1 September 2007 (PDT)

But Jin appear in the photo with his Tekken 4's outfit. I think that it will be an error, because Tekken doesn't have many history. For example, Nina lose all her history, without Anna...

It's probably going to be about Jin, and a bunch of other people having their own side stories (like Nina and Anna chasing each other, Lei hunting down someone like Bryan or Nina, Xiaoyu following Jin, unless they make no connection between the two because movie makers LOVE doing that, Kuma and Panda, although they just might not, etc.).

[edit] Trailer

The trailer looks like it was Photoshopped. --RaiJinX

Yes, I think so, too. I'm going to remove it because of this. JunKazamaFan 04:36, 28 August 2007 (PDT)
Ok. --RJX

[edit] Character Looks: CHECK; Fighting Style: ?

It seems that some of us choose an actor or actress who looks like that certain character. But what about the fighting style ? Lateef Crowder is okay for Eddy Gordo

No, he's perfect. I hope the actors can fight. Vicky Zhao Wei would be perfect for Xiaoyu. --Sakura 05:22, 29 September 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Story

What would be the story of the film ?

Would it really be from the games ? Warning! The character Zheng does not appear in the games.

It's a new story, it's just based on the games. --Hecko 02:29, 9 October 2007 (PDT)
As usual. --Sakura 16:16, 9 October 2007 (PDT)

The only thing I can confirm to be correct is that the director is Dwight H. Little.

I think having Jack Black as Marduk shows that this article must be a joke :) Samuel 22:55, 14 March 2008 (PDT)

If someone posts it on a board, it's not to be trusted. It's that simple. Official sources have stated that Sebastian Stan signed on as Jin Kazama

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That guy played such a little, insignificant role in The Covenant, and now he's supposed to be Jin?! He's not even Japanese!!!

[edit] Don't Believe in Some Youtube Trailers

Everyone, just don't believe in those trailers. Those videos just contain edited pictures from Tekken's 5 & 6. The face of the character being replaced with an actor or actress. One of those videos even stated that Bruce Lee will play Law. Well, as a refreshment, Bruce Lee died 35 years ago.

[edit] Article Rewritten

I changed from Sebastian Stan to Jon Foo to play as Jin Kazama. Man, important information just somehow changes. Moonfang 00:35, 23 March 2008 (PDT)

Notice how the source that states that Jon Foo is to play Jin also mentions a bunch of other actors never before mentioned, while all those who have been confirmed aren't. For future changes on the cast, discuss them with us first.

[edit] Movie's placement in Tekken series

I know that the movie dont have to follow this, but if Miguel is appearing doesnt that mean that it is betweent Tekken 5 and 6?--66.176.132.163 04:55, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

You cannot compare its timelime with that of the games, since in the movie, there's has never been a King of Iron Fist Tournament before the one the movie focuses about. So its various characters from all and any games in the series entering the first tournament.

I think not. It says Miguel Rojas, not Miguel Caballero Rojo.

Miguel Rojas, Miguel Caballero Rojo, po-tay-to, po-tah-to. Movie directors who are recreating something that wasn't a movie before usually like to be stupid by adding characters or changing their names.

and that is why I want to "fix" them. with a nuke. or two.

[edit] Mishima ?????

Is Mishima the movie referring is really Heihachi ? What if it's Kazuya or Jinpachi ?

TALK - 21:28, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Um, I dunno if you've noticed, but Kazuya is listed there as one of the characters there. Also, no one's ever cared about killing Jinpachi except Jin in Tekken 5.
