2 Armor Kings?[edit]

How does everyone feel about there being a separate page for Armor King I and II? To me it doesn't make sense. In his Tekken 6 ending it's stated that there has always been 2 people portraying the one person. Someone did not 'take over' the role. They have always been the same person. In the original Tekken it can be assumed that even then there was 2 people portraying Armor King. Take for example Yoshimitsu, it's stated that Yoshimitsu is not one person but whomever is currently head of the Manji clan but their isn't a separate page for every incarnation of him. Gameplay wise, the creators obviously intended them to be the same fighter. Armor King players would obviously prefer to have these 2 pages as one.

Character Relationships[edit]

Armor King is King II's foster father? --RaiJinX

No, he isn't. I'll remove the part saying that he is. JunKazamaFan 21:48, 24 August 2007 (PDT)
Ok. --RJX

Killed he King?[edit]

In Character Relationship say this. But, i know that King was killed by Ogre. Reading the links, that say that Armor King feel him RESPONSABLE by the King's death, but not necessary that he was the assasin.

It says that Armor King is responsible for King's death, Armor King told King 2nd that Ogre killed King, and that a grim secret would never be revealed. Armor King killed King. If Ogre killed King, then the "grim secret" part would not make sense. JunKazamaFan 20:16, 2 September 2007 (PDT)
I wouldn't trust the magazine too much. Parts of what it says can be confirmed by official stuff, but others parts are so vague that they can be considered theories or the mind-farts of a really bored guy.
Besides, this part from the magazine: "Armor King was responsible for the first King's death, and full of remorse, he trained this new wrestler with a host of bone-crunching moves and more techniques besides. The guilt of the old King's death lay heavy on his shoulders, and training this new fighter to take King's throne was a way of showing respect.", while looking similar, directly contradicts this part "Armor King, knowing who killed King, felt an obligation to prepare King the Second for a rightful revenge." In the later, official, case, AK trains King to exact revenge on K1's killer. If the killer was AK, then why train him? And why did the magazine post a different reason for training him (respect rather than revenge)? --Hecko 04:04, 3 September 2007 (PDT)
Could we just put that he may or may not have killed King? --RaiJinX
Sure, just add: "May be King's true killer." or something like that.
Ok. --RJX
Done. --Sakura 15:01, 4 September 2007 (PDT)

Stage 7[edit]

Armor King knew the Craig Marduk was the one who killed King? Where is this stated? --Sakura 04:34, 29 September 2007 (PDT)

I see two errors here. Armor King has an interlude with Craig Marduk at Stage 4. Armor King does not have a Stage 7 interlude. Also, Marduk killed Armor King, not King. It is not stated that Armor King knew anything about who killed Armor King. Armor King claims that Ogre / True Ogre killed King, but Armor King himself could have also done it. JunKazamaFan 23:16, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
Wow this is so confusing -_-. The Tekken creators need to like, make some kind of guide or book so we can understand the things never mentioned/explained (like when/how Jin got the Devil Gene, who killed King, Unknown, etc.).
I don't think it should be a great idea, because game developers are less careful than fans about the storyline details. If a character has positive response they put him in the sequel even if he should be dead (just watch Street Fighter IV: they putted in all characters from Street Fighter II, while half of them shuld be dead or retired, as Guile). Every time comes out a "storyline explainer", such as a prequel (like Death by Degrees), a mini-game (like Devil Within), an official comic (there are lots in the Mortal Kombat series), they create lots of discrepancies. Better leave to us the bad work of puttin toghether every frame of storyline from the various official games.--KombatGod 01:56, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Any relation between Marduk and Armorking?[edit]

If you see the Tekken 3's King Endingm you can see the hairstyle of Armorking... If you, also, see the Tekken 4 opening, you can see the same hairstyle in Craig Marduk...

What do you think about it? Any relation between they?

...That is a pretty farfetched theory. I mean, Lei and Feng have the same hairstyles, Hell, even Lei and Nina have the same hairstyles. There's a woman in Laws T4 ending with the hairstyle of Anna, a guy with the hairstyle of Steve (albeit black hair), two guys with with Craigs T5 "hairstyle" (bald). So hairstyle is a weak ground to base something like this on. Not to mention, how would you explain the extreme differences in muscle growth and body proportions? --Hecko 23:59, 1 October 2007 (PDT)
That is all so very true. --Sakura 14:39, 2 October 2007 (PDT)
Also Armor King has darker skin, but he could just have taken some sun... Anyway I was thinking... it is not a very bad theory... Armor King is...Marduk! So he killed himself before Tekken 4... And this is confirmed because he clearly wears Armor King's mask in his and King's Tekken 5 prologe... (Haven't you noticed that? Yes, it's his mask! even if the voice says misteriously "a black jaguar mask", whithout stating it clearly...). One moment, but Marduk is in Tekken 4 and it's sequels... and is alive (he breathes), so Armor King is alive! So it should be rigth saying that the new Armor King is the old one. So in his Tekken 6 prologue, where is stated that he defeated Marduk means that he defeated himself!(once more) Imagine King watching this scene: Marduk is speaking with someone who's behind a wall, than he attacks him and goes out of sight. Than Marduk comes out with Armor King's mask sayng "it's not over take this!" and returns behind continuing simulating some fighting noises. Than Armor King comes out saying "I'm the winner!" after a moment he says to King "what's that!?" he turns his back just to let Marduk hide the mask and acting like he's been defeated. Ok, that's enough...--KombatGod 02:21, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Random info[edit]

Did ne1 heard about this , Armor King , Jinpachi and Wang were friends , I forgot where i got that info.

Original or successor?[edit]

If Armor King was the successor of the original one (hence his T5Dr ending), how could he have NOT known that AK1 was friends with King II? But if he is the original one, then he's evil now, eh? What do you guys think? Original or Successsor? -KM

Probably the original. Maybe he is evil. Look at what he almost did to Marduk before Tekken 6! Tekken-EX 06:49, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Or maybe this guy's pissed about the original Armor King's murder.

Yeah. Could be, could be. I'll get it ready in my sandbox when I have time.

Here's my version of the story: After being defeated from Marduk he didn't died, he lost his memory. He only remembers that Marduk is responsable for this and that he is rival to King (he can't remember that this is another King).--KombatGod 16:59, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Armor King = King I[edit]

Am I the only one who thinks this is sortofkindof obvious. King's death has never really been confirmed, he's only supposedly been killed Ogre. Also I believe what King II says in Armor King's T5DR ending is an obvious hint that King II knows(or rather, has a hunch?) whoever is behind the mask.

This theory has been around ever since Armor King was rumored to be in T5:DR, so no, you aren't the only one. However, we prefer to work with facts, rather than assumptions.

Armor King is Kazuya? No way!!![edit]

I just sorted the trivia and found this one I didn't noticed: "Armor King and Kazuya have a red eye". I bet who wrote this had in mind the theory that Armor King is Kazuya. I read it somewere (I think in the Wikipedia Armor King discussion) but this is just based upon him having the same eye and this doesn't make any sense! Armor King had the red eye before Kazuya, plus the red eye is on the mask, because King has it when wearing the mask in Tekken 3, so this doesn't mean he really have it, he probably has lost his eye or only have a scar. At last except for the eye, Kazuya doesn't have any similarity with Armor King. This is a stupid theory.

Anyway I kept the trivia because doesn't state that, but I think it is a useless note. It is like saying for Ganryu "he's fat, just like Bob" or for Bruce "Eddy and him are the black guys of the game".--KombatGod 14:12, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
