Paul Phoenix/Outfits

Paul's outfit's pretty much remains the same in all the Tekken games (except Tekken 4) but with minor modifications.

  • Player 1 Outfit:

Paul Phoenix's Player 1 outfit consists of a red judo uniform with the sleeves ripped off and a yellow judo sign, black belt and black hand and foot guards.

  • Player 2 Outfit

Paul Phoenix's Player 2 outfit consists of a black leather jumpsuit with a flaming skull design on the back, black fingerless gloves and boots with a flame designs on both sides of his pants.

  • Paul retains the same costumes as the previous game.

  • Player 1 Outfit

The same as his Player 1 outfit from the first two games, but it is slightly tattered and torn also, the yellow judo sign is on the left side of his jacket.

  • Player 2 Outfit

The same as his Player 2 outfit from the first two games, but it is now short sleeved with shoulder pads, knee pads and a white t-shirt underneath.


Tekken Tag Tournament

Paul's P1 and P2 outfits from Tekken Tag Tournament
  • Paul returns with the same two default costumes from the previous game. However, his 2P biker suit is long sleeved again with no t-shirt underneath and he gains additional recolored versions of his player 1 and player 2 outfits, respectively.
  • Player 1 Outfit:

The same as his P1 outfit from Tekken 3. However, the judo uniform was changed to black instead of red and his belt and logos are changed to red and now wears white foot wraps, similar to Heihachi Mishima's past P1 outfit from Tekkens 1 and 2, but he still wears his black handguards.

  • Player 2 Outfit:

Paul's player 2 outfit is long sleeved again. However, his tracksuit went from black to blue, and it is long sleeved without a white t-shirt underneath, like in Tekkens 1 & 2.

  • Player 1:

His new P1 outfit consists of a white T-shirt with a long sleeved red gi uniform jacket thrown off and tied around his waist, red gi uniform pants with logos on them and navy blue boots with orange flame designs on them. Paul's clasic red judo uniform is removed, but he kept his black handguards and the black belt.

  • Player 2:

His new P2 outfit consists of a black T-shirt with a flaming skull design on the back,similar to his past P2 outfit, handwatch on his left hand, gray jeans, black shoes and his hair is down instead of the flat top style. This is the first and the only outfit that Paul has jeans, t-shirt, and doesn't have his trademark hairstyle and his gloves.

  • Ending:

Paul's ending has him wearing a ponytail, a red tuxedo jacket, black dress shirt, orange sunglasses, red dress pants and black dress shoes.

Tekken 5

  • Player 1 Outfit

Same as his Player 1 outfit from the earlier games (except for Tekken 4.), but there are now white wraps around of his wrists and his red gi is even more tattered and torn than it was before.

  • Player 2 Outfit

His Player 2 Outfit Goes Back to the way it was in Tekken 3. However, his boots are now grey and red and his shoulder pads are much larger.

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection

Both his outfits with customizations.
  • Player 1 Outfit

His Player 1 Outfit shows red his judo uniform is changing to white and his Black hand guards are changing to light blue.

  • Player 2 Outfit

His Player 2 outfit shows his Black Biker suit and leather boots changing to Blue. This color scheme is similar to the one from Tekken Tag Tournament.

Tekken 6

  • The only changes made to Paul's outfits are that they go back to the old colors from Tekken 5.

Street Fighter X Tekken

  • Paul wears the same 1P costume as the previous game.


Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Paul's costume and render in Tekkens Tag Tournament 2 and Revolution
  • Paul's 1P outfit is retained from the previous game as his only default costume. However, when two players select his default costume at the same time, his gi changes to dark blue. Furthermore, his biker costume can be unlocked in Ghost Battle mode.



Tekken 7/Tekken 7: Fated Retribution

  • His costume was retained from the previous game in earlier stages of Tekken 7.


  • In Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, Paul receives a costume update for the first time since Tekken 4; His black Leather jacket has only one sleeve, and its collars are outlined with red and white USA Stripes, he receives new versions of his black motorcycle gloves, and his pants have red and white flames and his boots are updated. Finally, he wears a dark blue belt with matching shoulder and kneepads that have white USA stars on them.
