Introduction
Tetsujin appeared as an unlockable character in Tekken Tag Tournament. Like Mokujin, Tetsujin has no fighting style of his own. Instead, he chooses another playable character's fighting style and uses it. Tetsujin's fighting style changes after each round, and also when tagged out and back in. Unlike Mokujin, there is no female version of Tetsujin.
Trivia
- If the player wins ten or more vs. matches with Tetsujin in "Survival" or "vs" mode, Tetsujin will take on a golden appearance. In fact, this also happens when a player is using Mokujin, and also when the demo mode is left running for more than ten Mokujin/Tetsujin matches.
- Tetsujin's name written in kanji is "鉄人." When translated it literally means "iron man."
- Like Unknown, Tetsujin is a character that only appeared in Tekken Tag Tournament.
- Tetsujin can make a metal sound when hit by holding 'down' while the battle is loading.
- Mokujin can be customized to look like Tetsujin in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection.
Story
Tetsujin makes his first and last appearance as a playable character in Tekken Tag Tournament. However, Tekken Tag Tournament is not a part of the Tekken series' canonical storyline.
Ending Animation
Mokujin and Tetsujin are practicing some Wushu-like moves with many other Mokujin. Mokujin, Tetsujin and the other Mokujin perform all of their moves in unison. This ending animation ends with Mokujin/Tetsujin and the Mokujin pointing at the screen. This ending takes place in Forest Law's second Tekken Tag Tournament stage, "Law-B".
