Basic Non-Damaging Moves[edit]

#1. This will not perform a guard in the first Tekken.
#2. This move was not possible prior to Tekken 3.

#5. This move is not possible on Tekken 4.

Basic Running Attacks[edit]

Basic attacks can be performed during a run. The command for run is f,F or f,f,f.

Run cancel 6-22 Press b or d/b to cancel a run. None

#1 Craig Marduk performs a tackle, but ends up in his Tudo Mount position.
#2 This move is performed by all male characters and Panda.
#3 This move is performed by all females except Panda, Angel and Kunimitsu; and also Wang in Tekken 1 and 2.

Basic standing attacks[edit]

These are moves that can usually be performed by every character. There are some character exceptions to the moves stated.

#1. Hit range is dependent on character.
#2. 2+4 and F+2+4 will result in different throws in Tekken 4.
#3. This will result in "Position Change" in Tekken 4.
#4. This will result in special actions if playing as Steve Fox.
#5. Your back must be against a wall in order to do this move and can only be done in Tekken 4 and later installments.

Knock Down Moves[edit]

These are moves that can be performed upon landing afer being knocked down.

#1 Tech rolls were only possible from Tekken 3.
#2 In Tekken 3, if you fall on your face, you cannot perform a tech roll.
#3 Only certain moves can be tech rolled.
#4 This move was not possible prior to Tekken Tag Tournament.
#5 Press D immediately after tech rolling to recovery crouch (RC) instead of standing.
#6 Can also be achieved by holding B while the character is in the air after they have been knocked off their feet.

Knock Down Moves[edit]

These are moves that can be performed while grounded.

#1 Press D immediately after rolling to remain grounded, but facing the opposite direction.
#2 This move can also be done after Quick Roll Back or Roll Back or Roll Forward.
#3 Knock down (KND) on counter hit.
#4 This move was not available before Tekken 3.
#5 The command was (b,b_f,f)+1+2 prior to Tekken Tag Tournament. Lei Wulong cannot perform this move.
#6 The command is b,b+3+4 prior to Tekken Tag Tournament. Lei Wulong cannot perform this move.
#7 Yoshimitsu, Paul Phoenix, and Kunimitsu will do a Spring Forward to Dive Lunge.
#8 King, Armor King, Eddy Gordo, Christie Monteiro, Roger, Alex, and Roger Jr. will have their backs turned at the completion of the move.
