Talk:Street Fighter X Tekken

I bet once they release Tekken 7 on arcades, they'll release an updated version with more characters and stages like they did with Tekken 5 and 6. --Tekken-EX 11:11, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Most likely. I think when we list images / videos etc we should make a distinction for which engine they're running on. At the moment they're all Street Fighter based but I'm betting we will see some Tekken engine version of Ryu etc. Samuel 11:48, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Street Fighter Characters[edit]

Street fighter characters should not have character pages created for them until we get details about how their stores interact with the Tekken characters (if they do at all) Samuel 03:38, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

I agree, but someone already did. I think we should link the SF characters to their profiles on SF Wiki instead seeing they didn't create Tekken pages themselves.
Well, I'm happy to leave them there for the time being. If it turns out that they don't have any impact on the Tekken universe (ie, their is no story for Tekken X Street Fighter) then they will be removed / linked to the SF Wiki. Samuel 03:44, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
I did what the admin and I said at first. I think its best to link Street Fighter characters to Street Fighter Wiki for now until they are said to be connected to the Tekken storyline [not characters, storyline]. The crossover game pages can obviously stay since they feature the Tekken series, but the characters should not for now. Just like SF Wiki link Tekken characters to Tekken Wiki, I believe we should do the same for now. In fact, even if they are said to be connected, I still believe we shouldn't have to make new pages for the SF characters. We'll just repeat information that is already stated on other SF sites and I personally think that's redundant and not necessary. --Youri

I hope Karin Kanzuki and Sakura Kasugano are included. Angie Y. 22:19, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Namco X Capcom[edit]

i was thinking that the Tekkenpedia doesn't allows pages for croossovers, as we don't have a page for Namco X Capcom

What is Namco X Capcom? If a game involves Tekken characters, then it's on the wiki. Samuel 03:43, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Namco X Capcom is a series of games developed by the companies Namco and Capcom. We all know Namco owns Tekken, so of course Capcom owns Street Fighter. Just like there's an SNK X Capcom series. That's my shortest way of explaining.
Actually, Namco X Capcom is just one game (not a series of games). According with wikipedia, the game is "a hybrid of an action-RPG and a tactical-RPG" wich involves a large number of characters from differente series

i have the game with an english patch and from the Tekken series there are King II, Armor King I, Jin, Devil Jin, Devil Kazuya, Mokujin and Ogre sorry if i didn't signed the posts, i don't want an account in a wikia, it was just something i had doubt about.

Two Separate Games, with different names[edit]

Jun Kazama added to street fighter X tekken or Tekken X Street Fighter[edit]

Gamespot just posted a cool video interview with Yoshinori Ono and Katsuhiro Harada from Gamescom (Ono's still in his Chun-li getup). As far as the development of the Crossover Fighters, exact details are scarce but the two devs do talk about how their teams are going about making the upcoming fighters, such as listening to fan feedback and suggestions.

It's really fun to see these two producers from two high profile games spar and interact onscreen via their body language- you can tell they're very comfortable with each other and are good friends... perhaps the one reason how this whole thing was made possible in the first place.

Anyway, there were two significant things I got from the interview. One, apparently Ono has fixated on the still-MIA Jun Kazama and has stated that he wants her to be in his game- a point up for Jun loyalists though (I'm an Asuka fan so whatever). The other is the release date- Ono said that his early prognosis of release in 2 years earned him a scolding from Capcom boss Keiji Inafune, so he and his team will try to get the game out sooner than that. Good to hear.

Check out the whole video interview here. [http://thelonegamer.wordpress.com/2010/08/24/streetfighter-x-tekken-trash-talk-jun-kazama-to-return/ and here where the video is [http://gamescom.gamespot.com/video/6274133/ User: Teriko

Split up[edit]

I think we should split up Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Figther info, it's just gonna get confusing and messy in the long run... --Hecko 12:21, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

The new trailer shows Kazuya holding Jin in the begining. He was in an armor suit and his vision looked like a robot's vision. What does this mean? Is he playable??? Or is that even him?!?!?

We need more evidence first, for the time being we will wait.

Can you please provide a link to the new trailer? --Tekken-EX 11:07, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

It's there on the page, the second CG rendered trailer --Kash 15:04, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

My opinion on this game[edit]

Its pretty ok but it should Devil Kazuya and Evil Ryu, And Dragunov lol. But the game is ok I give it a 5/10 --Devilster910 (talk) 10:41, 1 April 2013 (CEST) Plus they should have added Lee for some reason --Devil Beam of Death! 20:13, 24 April 2013 (CEST)
