Tekken Forever categories[edit]
Why not just call them Category:Tekken Forever Images? --Hecko 14:16, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
- Wow! I was thinking of exactly that! I'll do that! JunKazamaFan 14:22, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
- Good idea. --Sakura 16:52, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
- Yes, it is. I'm glad you think so. JunKazamaFan 17:20, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
- All right. All of the Tekken Forever images have been categorized into the appropriate categories, including the "Tekken Forever Images" category. JunKazamaFan 18:27, 7 October 2007 (PDT)
- I saw that. Nice work. --Sakura 18:38, 7 October 2007 (PDT)

Tekken 6 Characters Idea[edit]
Please use this place for discussing this. JunKazamaFan 12:48, 9 October 2007 (PDT)
- Unfortunately, the new characters have large descriptions and are considerabely covered by their descriptions. Some of the images would be O.K (perhaps Bruce or Armor King) I wouldn't worry too much JunKazamaFan I'm sure something will be figured out. KingIsBest 19:18, 10 October 2007 (AEDT).
- Yes, this is true. Hopefully, better images will be released soon, but for now, this is the best that I can do. Okay. All right. Hopefully, soon, too. Thanks for telling me your opinions about this! JunKazamaFan 05:54, 10 October 2007 (PDT)
Thanks[edit]
Thanks for including me in your "Great Tekkenpedia Members" thing on your user page (which looks oddly familiar but we'll ignore that). It's nice to know the stuff I do is noticed. KingIsBest 19:22, 10 October 2007 (AEDT).
- No problem. Yeah, I did get the idea from your "Cool Tekkenpedia Members" section. I don't want people to think I came up with the idea and give me credit when they make one, so I'll say that you came up with the idea. I don't want to take credit for someone else's idea. Your work does not go unnoticed. JunKazamaFan 05:43, 10 October 2007 (PDT)
You think I'm cool? You're WAY cooler though, since you always come up with the idea. I just follow your lead! --RaiJinX
Random[edit]
Hey, I think you should add your Tekken 6 stories on to your page until they are released. --RaiJinX
- I've been thinking of doing that, but I never got around to it. I'll do it now! JunKazamaFan 18:08, 12 October 2007 (PDT)
- All right. I've done it! JunKazamaFan 18:15, 12 October 2007 (PDT)
Code Lyoko[edit]
Alright I can see no-one is with me when I say those edits do not belong here. First of all the customizations are not at all based on Code Lyoko characters and I know that for sure. Second of all RaiJinX had to delete her edits about Soul Calibur which is alot closer related to Tekken than Code Lyoko is and yet my edits have been reverted three times now. Third, the customizations hardly resemble these characters, but on top of that there is no similarities in anything else. Now, I obviously can't stop you and Angie Y from reverting my edits and making new ones, but have a think about it please. KingIsBest 17:46, 19 October 2007 (AEDT).
- Well, I do agree that it doesn't belong here. You're right! I should not have reverted it. This won't happen again. I was just trying to make Angie feel better, as she was banned from editing Wikipedia for a while (about two days) (I'm not sure of the reason or reasons). She doesn't like when people revert her edits, which explains why she kept reverting and why she asked me to revert, which I agreed to do to make her feel better). I'll do what I think is best for Tekkenpedia from now on. I'm removing all Code Lyoko information from everything except user pages and user talk pages. JunKazamaFan 00:36, 19 October 2007 (PDT)
- All right! There aren't any articles mentioning Code Lyoko now, except for user pages and user talk pages, as it should be! JunKazamaFan 00:41, 19 October 2007 (PDT)
- O.K, sorry to hear that Angie was banned, I hope I didn't make her feel bad. KingIsBest 19:13, 19 October 2007 (AEDT).
- Okay. Hopefully, she'll start feeling better soon. Don't worry. I doubt she has anything against you. JunKazamaFan 04:56, 19 October 2007 (PDT)
- Actually, there's a difference. For the Soul Calibur thing, an individual in-depth article about the character was written. This was wrong, because individual articles about non-Tekken stuff shouldn't be here. However, what Angie did was note a physical resemblance to another character in a trivia section. Since the piece of information qualifies as trivia, she technically did the right thing. That the physical resemblance was so minute that it was almost non-existant is however another story, and this is why it should have been deleted. Easily noticible physical similarites are something else, like Leo and Rock Howard, or a customized Paul Phoenix looking like Ken Masters and stuff like that. However, more general stuff, like fighting style, hobbies, etc. should not be compared, unless they are rare or unusual. --Hecko 08:33, 19 October 2007 (PDT)
- I don't know what page you're on, Hecko, but we're not talking about the Yoshimitsu (Soul Calibur) page. KIB was talking about what I wrote about Tekken and Soul Calibur characters being similar to each other. --RaiJinX
- Oooh, my bad ^_^ In which articles did this happen? --Hecko 14:37, 19 October 2007 (PDT)
- On Julia's page. And besides, weren't you the one who made me change it in the first place? --RaiJinX
- "Julia shares physical similarities with Seong Mi-na from Soul Calibur." To me, it looks like we still have the physical similarity thing. Now again, where exactly did everything get removed? --Hecko 01:20, 20 October 2007 (PDT)
- Hmm, well I seem to remember her deleting something about Sophitia Alexandra on Julia's page. But, since then it seems she has replaced it with another soul calibur character. KingIsBest 01:32, 20 October 2007 (PDT)
- [1]. JunKazamaFan 03:05, 20 October 2007 (PDT)
- As one can see on the link provided by JKF, the stuff that could apply to hundreds was removed, while the quite convincing note on physical similarity was kept. *cough cough* first comment I made. Now, because I want to be on the same page as everyone else (which I guess I'm still not), I'm gonna have to ask for help finding these pages. I tried looking through 200+ of Rai's edits, but I didn't find anything about somewhat unique similarities between Tekken and SC characters being added and then removed. Help, please. --Hecko 03:22, 20 October 2007 (PDT)
- It was only Julia's. --Rai
- It's just on Julia Chang's page, like RaiJinX said. I agree with you, Hecko X. JunKazamaFan 06:28, 20 October 2007 (PDT)

Vandal[edit]
Could be block this IP Address 202.8.253.40? This person has already vandalized 4 pages. --RaiJinX
- You mean the one that says that Armor King and Asuka Kazama are in a romantic relationship? This is clearly vandalism. King II defeating Julia Chang could be true, but it isn't. I'll block him or her for inserting false information into articles. JunKazamaFan 22:38, 19 October 2007 (PDT)

Tekken Forever?[edit]
I was thinking, couldn't we make an article for the unknown Tekken comic? I mean, this site is for all things Tekken, right? Also, do you mind if I start an article for Zheng (an Introduction stating what we know about himself already?)? --RaiJinX
- We should, but I'm not sure what to call it. I guess "Unknown Tekken Comic" will have to do. Good idea! There should be a "Zheng" article. JunKazamaFan 22:22, 19 October 2007 (PDT)
- Alrighty then. I'll try to get started on both as soon as possible. --RaiJinX

Help[edit]
Yeah, um... could you delete that image I uploaded with Christie and Ivy from SC? I really don't think I should've put it on here. (My mistake!) --RaiJinX
- Because you didn't get permission from the fan that made it? Sure, I'll delete it. Hecko X has already done it, though. JunKazamaFan 06:20, 20 October 2007 (PDT)
- Yeah. Thanks a bunch. --Rai
- Okay. No need to thank me. Hecko X did it. I'm sorry I didn't get to it in time. That's a great image, though! JunKazamaFan 11:08, 20 October 2007 (PDT)
- Alright, I'll be sure to thank him soon. It's ok. --RaiJin

Image naming[edit]
sorry if i made a page of myself. i didnt know -JinKazamaFan-
- That's okay. As long as you know now. JunKazamaFan 08:30, 12 November 2007 (PST)
thanks. just one question...how do you do the JunKazamaFan 10:10, 25 October 2007 (PDT) thing?
- No problem. Put four tildes (~) together without spaces. By the way, I'm a male, not a female. JunKazamaFan 10:30, 25 October 2007 (PDT)
Try to avoid giving a (partial) source in the actual namespace of the image. If I was to find a better image depicting the same, but somewhere else, I would then have to delete the old image, upload the new, and find/correct all the links, instad of just uploading over the old image (if you get what I mean). --Hecko 03:21, 21 October 2007 (PDT)
- I understand what you're saying. I'll remember this. Thank you for telling me this! JunKazamaFan 03:40, 21 October 2007 (PDT)
What can we chat?[edit]
When can we chat on AIM again? Angie Y. 11:51, 21 October 2007 (PDT)
- Oh. I'm sorry. I haven't logged on to AIM in a while. We can chat now. I'll log in. JunKazamaFan 11:53, 21 October 2007 (PDT)
- I've logged in, and I've sent you a message. JunKazamaFan 11:56, 21 October 2007 (PDT)

Sandbox[edit]
Are Sandboxes for like, random things? --RaiJinX
- Kind of. They are for some ideas that you might have for Tekkenpedia. JunKazamaFan 14:44, 21 October 2007 (PDT)
- Think of them as personal testing grounds. If you have ideas you want to show other people, without actually implementing them in various articles or templates because the idea isn't finished or you want feedback on it before adding it to an article or stuff like that, you display them there so people can discuss them. And while we're on the subject, JK, for the Custumization list, you should probably note what buttons you press i.e. punch-buttons, kick-buttons, start, R1, etc. instead of saying "player one" and "player two", since this leaves people guessing what you mean and which is which. --Hecko 16:52, 26 October 2007 (PDT)
- That sounds much better than what I said! Yes, that's exactly what Sandboxes are! I agree. That would work better. For anyone that doesn't know, "Player One" means the "Square" and "Triangle" outfit. "Player Two" means the "X" and "Circle" outfit. "Player Three" is for the extra outfit that they may have. But, I'll use the "buttons" method of describing them from now on. JunKazamaFan 11:15, 27 October 2007 (PDT)
- Okay. I'm just mentioning it because the dangers of that method (player XX), is that some characters have many costumes. Ling tops it off with 5 different ones (two regular, 3 alternative), which is why specification is important. So saying "right punch", "left kick", "either kick", etc. is to be prefered. --Hecko 11:29, 27 October 2007 (PDT)
- You're right. Okay. JunKazamaFan 23:06, 28 October 2007 (PDT)
- Just for the sake of clarity, I'm gonna repeat myself. "JK, for the Custumization list, you should probably note what buttons you press i.e. punch-buttons, kick-buttons, start, R1, etc. instead of saying "player one" and "player two", since this leaves people guessing what you mean and which is which." In other words, you don't have to do it for image names where you can actually see the outfit. There, you can call it player XX and make a note of what should be pressed to select that outfit in the summary box. --Hecko 22:53, 28 October 2007 (PDT)
- Oh. Whoops! I'm sorry about that! I'll remember this when naming my future images. JunKazamaFan 23:09, 28 October 2007 (PDT)
- Okay. I'm just mentioning it because the dangers of that method (player XX), is that some characters have many costumes. Ling tops it off with 5 different ones (two regular, 3 alternative), which is why specification is important. User Rights[edit]
I've upgraded your account to Bureaucrat, this will let you promote other users to Sysop level. Use responsibly! We need a good mix of Sysops to active users, perhaps 1 Sysop for every 10 users or so. We currently have 3 sysops. Samuel 19:05, 21 October 2007 (PDT)
- Hey, congrats JKF. KingIsBest 00:02, 22 October 2007 (PDT)

King II and Kuma II[edit]
I think these are the best names for them, Wikipedia calls them that so that will probably be known better as that. KingIsBest 00:25, 22 October 2007 (PDT)
- All right. You're right! Well, Hecko X has already moved Kuma Jr. to Kuma II. That will work better! JunKazamaFan 01:21, 22 October 2007 (PDT)
- Yeah, I'm kind of the impatient kind. Btw, congrats on becoming bureaucrat. Oh, lastly, consider archiving all the finished discussions on your talk page at the same time, rather than one by one. I mean, since they're finished, there's no real reason to display them anymore. --Hecko 04:04, 22 October 2007 (PDT)

Why is Ganryu's page marked with a "!"? I see it on my watchlist next to the name of the article. --RaiJinX
- Probably because it has been recently edited. JunKazamaFan 13:32, 22 October 2007 (PDT)
- But I've never seen it before. It's also on Roger's page as well as Tekken Advance and Tekken. Is it because they are on patrol or something? --RaiJinX
- I have came to the conclusion that it is because non-Sysops have edited them. JunKazamaFan 13:41, 22 October 2007 (PDT)
- Oh. That sounds plausible to me. --Rai
- That's probably it. Because before I upgraded you to a Sysop, your edits were marked with exclamation points. When you edited my user talk page just recently, after I promoted you to a Sysop, there was no exclamation point. JunKazamaFan 13:53, 22 October 2007 (PDT)

Julia Hug[edit]
Hey JKF, seeing as we now have all these sections for secret moves I am thinking of writing an article about the move "Julia Hug" which can only be perfomed by Ganyru. Could you do me a favour, I think there already is a youtube video of that move, could you have a look around and see if there is a good one, and if there is add it to the article. (Once I have started the article). KingIsBest 00:43, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- Okay. These are the only two videos that I have found that show this move at the moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kD9WpE4J7E and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vY539XB53xo. I'll look around for some more, though. JunKazamaFan 01:16, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- O.K. cool, the reason I asked you to do it is because I can't watch ant videos on the internet at the moment. I'll leave it up to you whether you add the videos or not, if you want too here is the article. Thanks JKF. KingIsBest 02:56, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- Okay. Thank you for creating the article! I think we should add the first video that I provided a link to, because it just shows the "Julia Hug" move and the quality is better. No problem! JunKazamaFan 03:09, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- All right. I've added the video to the article. JunKazamaFan 03:18, 30 October 2007 (PDT)

- O.K. cool, the reason I asked you to do it is because I can't watch ant videos on the internet at the moment. I'll leave it up to you whether you add the videos or not, if you want too here is the article. Thanks JKF. KingIsBest 02:56, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
Since we have something for the Julia Hug, should we have an article for the Asuka's Jin's-face-punching frenzy (and Raven secret's move)? --RaiJinX
- I got the gist we should make pages about any secret move we wanted to do. So yeah, those pages should/could be included. KingIsBest 15:15, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- Ok! But what should I call Asuka's move (other than Asuka's special move)? King II's move (dancing) can be called Dancing King II and Raven's can be called like Raven's Shadow Clone or Raven's Doppleganger (I think doppleganger works better), or something like that. I'm a little short on creative names -_-. --RaiJinX
- Yes, we should have articles about those secret moves! We should have articles about all of the secret moves in the Tekken games. JunKazamaFan 15:21, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- I'm not sure what we should name them, either. I'll think of some, though. JunKazamaFan 15:22, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- Looks like we're all creatively blocked -_-. I'll stick with King II Dancing for the time being. --Rai
- Yeah, sadly. Okay. JunKazamaFan 15:50, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- All already discovered secret moves already have published un-official names that we should use I think. KingIsBest 15:26, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- All right. Since I don't know the commands for all of these moves, I don't know what to look for. JunKazamaFan 15:50, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- Raven's move is called Summon Mirage, but fans tend to call it Raven Clone or Raven Bunshin (Joke on Naruto, I guess). Asuka's move is simply known as Asuka's Ultimate Tackle, since... well, it's an Ultimate Tackle and it's performed by Asuka. I forgot what King's move is called, but it was named after a taunt by Rey Mysterio I think, so ask someone who knows a lot about wrestling. --Hecko 15:39, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- Okay. Thank you very much! JunKazamaFan 15:50, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- Aspicio.. Ok then. Thanks, Hecko. --Rai
- No worries. However, I would like to retract one statement, it isn't based on Rey Mysterio, it is based on Tiger Mask (obviously). Tiger Mask circles the ring in that manner as seen here within the first minute (compared to what King does). --Hecko 15:46, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- Okay. Thanks for mentioning this! JunKazamaFan 15:50, 30 October 2007 (PDT)
- I think this is also a yoshimitsu secret move 1+2+3+4~b,f,u,d+1+4 does anyone know? KingIsBest 18:56, 31 October 2007 (PDT)
- I'm not sure about that. Sorry. JunKazamaFan 20:03, 31 October 2007 (PDT)

Infobox[edit]
I was kinda thinking: could we put infoboxes for the other characters (non-playable characters)? Just a thought. --RaiJinX
- I like this idea. It would look much better than what is currently being done. JunKazamaFan 17:10, 23 October 2007 (PDT)
- We would have to make an infobox specifically for that first. --Hecko 17:54, 23 October 2007 (PDT)
- I'm glad you guys agree ^_^. Good idea, Hecko. I guess the obvious things would be name, country of origin, fighting style (or not), etc. --RaiJinX
- Yes, we do need to make an Infobox for this. No problem, RaiJinX! JunKazamaFan 18:58, 23 October 2007 (PDT)
- ^_^. --Sakura 19:04, 23 October 2007 (PDT)
- All right. Here it is: Template:Non-playable Character. It needs work, though. JunKazamaFan 19:39, 23 October 2007 (PDT)
- All right! I'm done with adding this Infobox to all of the articles of the non-playable characters ([3])! JunKazamaFan 10:54, 24 October 2007 (PDT)

Images[edit]
I have a question, go to this web page [4] also to this web page [5], Do you think we can upload them because I dont know if they are fan art but the page is not in english??? Or we should just forget about them???? Or how would we get permission??? From user Maria.
- They look like fan art images to me. You should ask them if they are or not if you are not sure. If they are, you should ask for their permission. I'm not sure how you could do these things, though, since it is not in English. But, I don't think they would mind, as long as you don't falsely claim that it's yours, and you give them credit for them by providing links to the website. But, still, you should get their permission to upload them, because they do look a lot like fan art. So, I say that you shouldn't upload them yet. JunKazamaFan 10:54, 27 October 2007 (PDT)
- It is fanart, but they don't mind if it is downloaded, as long as it isn't distributed. Also, if people want to use them, they ask that they download the images and upload them to another server, because they don't allow direct linking to their images. So as long as you add a note of where you got it and who the artist is, you should be fine (when it comes to this specific page). --Hecko 11:02, 27 October 2007 (PDT)
- I see. JunKazamaFan 11:07, 27 October 2007 (PDT)

Tekken Bowl[edit]
We need a page for that. --RaiJinX
- We do. Here it is: Tekken Bowling.
- Ok. --Rai
- No worries. I've recently made "Tekken Bowl" a redirect to "Tekken Bowling". JunKazamaFan 20:40, 29 October 2007 (PDT)

Tekken 3 Bonus Characters[edit]
Hey did you know that Tekken 3 bonus characters (Doctor Boskonovitch, Gon) can be played in PlayStation 2 & 3. Because on the article it says Bonus Characters (PlayStation Version Only). But thats not true because you can play them in the PlayStation 3 console. Do you think we should leave that part (PlayStation Version Only) by the Bonus Characters or remove it??
- It's because they aren't playable in the arcade version, i.e. consol version only (which is what it referes to). It has nothing to do with the specific make of the PS. --Hecko 12:55, 28 October 2007 (PDT)
- Ok Maria
- Yeah, what Hecko X said. JunKazamaFan 13:10, 28 October 2007 (PDT)
- Ok Maria
Thankyou[edit]
Thankyou for adding the video to Poison Sword Spin. KingIsBest 21:22, 5 November 2007 (PST)
- No problem! JunKazamaFan 13:32, 8 November 2007 (PST)
- Hi JKF, I have two favours to ask of you. 1). Could you please change the protection on the move lists template (sorry don't know the link) so I can edit it, I think only sysops can currently edit it. I would like to do some minor edits to it, so it will be right when I start writing movelists again. 2). I started this discussion on my user page, I would really appreciate your opinion. Thankyou in advance! KingIsBest 21:57, 7 November 2007 (PST)
- 1. Sure. I'll fix it so that you can edit it. 2. Sure. No problem! JunKazamaFan 13:32, 8 November 2007 (PST)
Categories[edit]
Should we have a category for users? --Rai
- It's a special page already see here. I didn't realise we had hundreds of users! KingIsBest 21:51, 7 November 2007 (PST)
- A list of all of the users on Tekkenpedia is in the Special pages. See User list. So making a category for all of the users on Tekkenpedia is kind of redundant. Yes, we do have a lot of users on Tekkenpedia, KingIsBest! 257, to be exact! I found this out here. JunKazamaFan 04:26, 8 November 2007 (PST)
- Yes, I know. Samuel told me. LOL. --RaiJinX
- Okay. I just thought I should tell you myself. Well, as long as you know it. JunKazamaFan 13:50, 8 November 2007 (PST)
- Thanks anyways, both of you. --RaiJinX

Forum[edit]
Any thoughts on me setting up a forum for the Tekkenpedia? Samuel 22:10, 8 November 2007 (PST)
- Yes, I do. This is a terrific idea! I have wanted this to happen for a while, but I wasn't sure how it would be created. I would love to see it made! Thank you! JunKazamaFan 05:45, 9 November 2007 (PST)
- A forum? Seriously? --Sakura 19:44, 9 November 2007 (PST)
- Yes, seriously. JunKazamaFan 07:31, 11 November 2007 (PST)
- I've setup the forums here, feel free to jump on and create an account, once I've fixed up the color scheme / logo etc then I'll make a general announcement about it.

Lili/Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Strategy[edit]
Check out this page: Lili/Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Strategy. Should this even be on this site? --RaiJinX
- I know i'm not JKF but I had to say something lol. First of all the bit at the bottom that says all credit goes to blah blah blah needs to go, seeing as this is a wiki and credit should not go to a single person. This article is of reasonably low quality and possible inaccuracy, I suggest perhaps talking to the writer to improve it. Otherwise delete it. KingIsBest 19:53, 10 November 2007 (PST)
- Ok. Thanks, KIB. I needed anyone's opinion, not just JKF's. And, actually, I think we should just delete it. I really don't like that page being on this site. Isn't that why we have a movelist page for each character? --Rai
- Well, it looks decent. It's nice to see some edits to these "Strategy" articles consisting of something other than vandalism. The credit part should be either in the summary or on the person's user page, not in the article itself. Plus, I don't think "XD" (laughing) should be in an article like this. I do believe that the strategies can and should be merged with the movelists, though, along with the juggle videos. It needs a LOT of work! The person that made the page obviously put a lot of effort into it, and for that, I thank that person. I'd hate to remove the person's work. So, I say contact the writer and discuss the accuracy, as well as improvements. While not the best, it does have potential, so let it stay or merge it with the movelist for Lili.
