Returning Characters[edit]

Shouldn't Kuma II and King II be in the New Characters section, since they really are? I mean, they're the successors of the originals, not the actual return originals, right? --RaiJinX

Yes, they should be in the "New Characters" section. I'll fix that now.

I just found a glitch!! I set the music onto arcade, played through Force mode of Tekken 3 and lost. Guess what! The EMBU showed up but the characters were messed up (e.g. Panda as Hwoarang, Doctor B. as Heihachi, Mokujin as Paul etc.)!!! WTF happened?! Can someone give me a theory?? And can I put that down in the trivia section?

Can you make the glitch occur again?

Yeah you can. It only occurs sometimes when you've unlocked everyone.

Once again; can you make the glitch occur again?

I.e. you have made the glitch happen at least twice, on two seperate occasions?

Actually it happens by random and it has happened to me over 6 times. I'm really confused.

Write down you exact option settings, what characters you used when it happened, what stage(s) it happened on, and the next time it happens, pause, and take a picture during the fight.

Yes. It's a joke. Characters "trading" places and adopting other character's movesets. They did the same in TTT, if I remember correctly.

Deleted[edit]

How come Tekken 3 is a candidate for deletion?- KM

Actually it's not. It's the "Alsosee" template that's a candidate for deletion. Tekken-EX 06:06, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Arcade release date?[edit]

Is the release date for the arcade version correct? Wikipedia says March 1996. --91.152.243.91 21:29, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia says a lot of things. The March 1996 is doubtful, because then they'd have to compete with themselves, since that was when T2 came out on consoles. Why risk sales?

The game's name may have been copyrighted in 1996, but the original version A game has the string '07:56:12, MAR 10 1997' hidden in the depths of its program code.

Jun and Sake[edit]

In the article it states Jun and Sake can be used by hacking the PlayStation version. From what I've heard, they could be used by hacking the arcade version. --Tekken-EX 10:42, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

Not possible on the PSX version. The only characters 'hidden' in the game are the Tekken Force characters; Crow, Falcon, Hawk and Owl - additionally, these characters use the same character slot and are just 'palette swaps' as such. The Tekken 3 page has since been cleaned up.

New stage?[edit]

FinNaL - Not so fast, aren't you?
TALK - 09 March 2011
I found a new stage! I was playing Tekken 3 in Tekken 5's Arcade History and I pressed START in the vs mode, highlighting Jin Kazama. He appeared in his P3 Costume.Anyone knows that place(It also works with Ling Xiayou.Problably is the Mishima High School).

Also if you press START and choose Nina, you will play with Anna.

TALK - 09 March 2011 (UTC)
You are correct about it being Mishima High, but it's not a new stage, just a secret one that works when you select those two in their school uniforms. And Anna is selected that way because originally, they weren't going to have her in Tekken 3, but I guess they made a final decision to do so, so they put her in Nina's slot. Kind of like how Eddy's in Christie's slot on Tekken...4. Hope that helps!

Gallery[edit]

Are those "Orchestra" images official artworks? If yes, then why the low resolution ones are uploaded and not the high res ones found at the source page? Asukaz 07:14, 13 July 2011 (PDT)

When I actually had a full-time PC, it didn't for some reason upload the images right. Feel free to upload newer versions of them on top of mine.
EDIT: Thank you for fixing up the images! --Youri

Missing Stages[edit]

Some stages (Paul, Ogre and School) were missing, I've added them but I need someone for finishing te job (add images in this page's gallery and in their own pages, and adding the soundtracks)...I'm not good with this wikia stuff so I'll leave this for someone else. Also note that "Punk Alley" is just an unofficial filler name, feel free to rename it.
