Story
- Prologue (Manual)
- Jack-2 is reborn... When Jane, now a physicist, was eight years old, she was rescued from a bacteriological war by the Russian military robot Jack-2. However, Jack-2 was later destroyed by a satellite weapon as Jane, still a young girl, watched in horror. Jane, now 27, could not forget the nightmare of Jack-2 having collapsed beside her. She spent 10 years restoring Jack-2 to 90% functionality, but it seemed to have lost the human characteristics that set it apart from Jack. Jane worked hard analyzing the program in order to return to Jack-2 the gentle soul which had saved her life. Through detailed analysis, she found that most of Jack-2's programming was created by Mishima Industries, one of the subsidiaries of the Mishima Zaibatsu. Moreover, she discovered a hidden program... 'Project Gun Jack'. It laid the groundwork for a new weapon, a pivot gun. In order to restore Jack-2 completely, Jane had to approach the Mishima Zaibatsu and solve the mystery of the project. She quickly installed the hidden program and brought the newly dubbed Gun Jack to the Mishima Zaibatsu.
- Ending (Unofficial Synopsis)
- A computer with the words "King of Iron Fist Tournament" and a picture of Gun Jack are shown. Jane smiles and Gun Jack awakens. Gun Jack puts Jane on his shoulder and the two go outside. A satelite image closes in on Gun Jack and Jane. Doctor Abel is the one watching Gun Jack and Jane from the image. The satelite then fires a laser at Gun Jack's location. Fortunately, Gun Jack was able to block the attack with a force-field, and the two survive.

- Gun Jack rivals in Tekken Card Challenge are Julia Chang, Bryan Fury and Anna Williams.
- An upgraded Gun Jack appears in Devil Within, a side game in Tekken 5 who is now capable of firing powerful projectiles.
- To view Gun Jack's full Tekken 3 ending, you have to beat the game with him twice. Beat the game with him just once and his ending will finish straight after the beam hits Gun Jack and Jane. If you complete the game again, then the second part shows that Gun Jack erected a force field to protect him and Jane.

Story
- Prologue (In-Game Text)
- Beloved Jack-5... Two years ago, a physics scientist named Jane tried to sneak into Mishima Industries with Gun Jack. However, they were discovered by a Tekken Force patrol and were fired upon. Gun Jack placed himself in the line of fire to protect Jane. After the hail of bullets stopped, Gun Jack had ceased to move. The day after, Jane was found and rescued by a G Corporation freighter. Jane joined the robotics division of G Corporation and successfully created Jack-4. Jane used data collected from Jack-4 and began work on a newer model, Jack-5. She saw the upcoming King of Iron Fist Tournament as the perfect chance to test the latest model, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
- Interludes (Unofficial Synopsis)
- Stage: Heihachi Mishima: Jack-5 encounters at the Final Frontier. As Heihachi is speaking, Jack-5 prepares its Data Analysis Program. After defeating Heihachi, Jack-5 headbutts him several times (like in Heihachi's interlude with Jack-5), and it finishes him with a charged uppercut, which sends Heihachi flying off of the platform. Finally, Jack-5 raises its arms and flies away.
- Final Stage: Jinpachi Mishima: Jinpachi says "Die." Jack-5 has now found his primary target and is ready to fight. Upon victory, Jack-5 walks over to Jinpachi and begins jabbing his unconscious body several times. Jack-5's analysis has successfully been completed.
- Ending (Unofficial Synopsis)
- Jane is seen working on her laptop in front of a deactivated Jack-5. After a moment, Jack-5 becomes active; however, Jack-5 is going haywire, destroying everything in the room. Just when he is ready to destroy Jane, the newly uploaded memories kick-in and Jack-5 remembers who Jane is, stopping the madness. He picks up Jane and they go on happily ever after.
Trivia
- Jack-5's sub-boss is Heihachi Mishima.
- If Jack-5 is hit by Devil Jin's laser, he won't go haywire like his predecessors in the Jack series, but will instead fall down. However, if hit with a straight Hellfire Blast (1+2), Jack-5 can recover some of the damage and avoid falling to the ground by pressing 1+2 after being hit.
- During Jack-5's "Story" mode, the screen will go black momentarily before his interlude fights with Heihachi and Jinpachi.

They decided to put it into The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 to destroy the Mishima Zaibatsu.

- Jack-6's Stage 1 and Stage 2 opponents in Scenario Campaign's "Arena" mode are Alisa Bosconovitch and Heihachi.

It always refers to itself in third person, and it never uses any articles. It identifies humans as "biologicals" and animals as "primitive biologicals." Jack-6 also states that it loves fighting on many occasions.
