Background[edit]
Asuka's father was a japanese dojo owner, and has taught his daughter, and multiple unnamed students. Shortly before the events of Tekken 5, he and his dojo were attacked by Feng Wei. He was later hospitalized due to these incurred injuries, while the dojo's sign was supposedly stolen, as shown in Feng's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ending.
His relationship with Jun Kazama has been left ambiguous by Namco. Some suggest that he's Jun's brother as Jin notes that Asuka "Should be my cousin" during the Scenario Campaign, and Namco backing up the statement, when they confirmed that Jin and Asuka weren't half-siblings. However, many disagree due to the lack of definitive proof to show that Asuka and Jin are relatives.
