Introduction

Roger Jr. was introduced in Tekken 5, and he returned for every subsequent game. He is the son of Roger, a bio-engineered kangaroo created by Doctor Bosconovitch. An important thing to note is that the character is being controlled by his mother. Roger Jr. is in his mother's "kangaroo-pocket".

A young joey accompanied by his mother, Roger Jr was once a peaceful joey alongside his family. During this time, Roger Jr. and his mother were both taught a special martial arts by the father of the group, Roger. It is unknown if the Roger Jr. and his mother were biologically engineered failures, but, they were nonetheless, successfully taught by Roger. The pair were also given boxing gloves, though it was unknown to how Roger or his family members obtained these gloves as well. Together, they seemed inseparable, that was until one fateful day. On this time, men in black suits appeared and kidnapped Roger, separating him from his family. This would inevitably result with a strong desire to find Roger from his family. This determination, however, was revealed to be misplaced, as Roger, living in comfort, had seemingly forgotten his family, leading to anger from Roger Jr. and his mother, to the point where the two distanced themselves from Roger. Leading a tough life together, mother and son still value each other loyally, in hopes to finally break free of poverty.

Roger Jr. and his mother had basically carried on the comical role of Roger which was first introduced in Tekken Tag Tournament. The main joke of Roger Jr.'s endings often shows Roger getting beaten up senseless, typically due to neglect of his family. Throughout these endings, Roger Jr. has actually showed freakish strength and speed, often flustering fellow joke characters such as Alex and Roger. Like most humorous characters, Roger Jr. is overshadowed and not very used by fans, though he is still considered as one of the most notable characters in the series, being among the animals that can actually fight.

Taking most of his moves from Roger's command list, Roger Jr. and his mother also inherited moves such as Roger's Animal Uppercut, and other grab moves such as "Giant Swing". Roger Jr. also has a reasonable amount of stances, the most frequently used, being his Rocket stance. His mother can also utilize her tail to fight, like her husband, being able to sweep or swat away She also utilizes her skull to attack opponents, and can perform moves taken from other "wrestler" characters such as King and Armor King.

Though Roger Jr. isn't given much focus. (rather, it's actually his mother) He still remains as one of Tekken's most notorious characters, being unique in the sense that he is an animal with boxing gloves, and being one of the most humorous characters to ever debut into the series.
